The pair met at a party and Mary-Kate was reportedly smitten off the bat! They spent a lot of time hanging around New York City in 2012.

Mary-Kate and Olivier enjoyed Memorial Day in the Hamptons and attending the Knicks game!

Their romance continued to blossom as they dated for two years before getting engaged!

Olivier popped the question in February 2014. Later, they checked out several Parisian churches as possible wedding venues.

This marked the star’s first marriage, while Olivier was previously wed to Charlotte Bernard, and they had two kids together, Julien and Margot.

“Mary-Kate’s family thinks Olivier is the best thing to happen to her,” an insider told Us Weekly about the newly engaged couple. “They love him.”

Here comes the bride! Mary-Kate, 32, tied the knot with Olivier, 49, in a secret Manhattan ceremony on Nov. 27, 2015.

The couple exchanged their vows in front of around 50 guests in an outdoor garden at a private residence before moving indoors.

Guests were required to turn in their cell phones and the party decor consisted of “bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes,” according to Page Six.

Mary-Kate became step-mom to Olivier’s two kids and she reportedly made sure to ask Charlotte permission about things concerning the children.

Later that year, Mary-Kate and Olivier moved into a $13.5 million abode by the Turtle Bay Garden.

The actress has remained pretty quiet about her romance with Olivier, however she did eventually open up about her marriage.

Mary-Kate did a photo shoot with her twin sister Ashley and spilled the tea about keeping up with her busy schedule and home life.

“I think we’re lucky [working hard] comes quite naturally for us,” Mary-Kate told The Edit. “We don’t need so much time to sit and think and ponder.”

“But then I have a husband, two step-kids and a life; I have to go home and cook dinner,” she continued. “I run on the weekend.”

Luckily, Mary-Kate knows how to keep it balanced! The actress also explained how she’s able to check off her to-do list and have some down time.

“You find the thing that helps you relax and if you don’t have it, you have to look for it,” she said. “Or you get burned out and then you’re not productive.”

In 2017, Mary-Kate and Olivier made a rare public appearance together while celebrating the Minnie Muse blog relaunch.

That same year it was revealed that Olivier and Mary-Kate “really want a baby,” according to Us Weekly. “They have been ready to have a child for a while.”

The mismatched couple doesn’t have any kids together yet, but who knows what the future holds!
