Meghan Markle’s Ex-Boyfriend Cory Vitiello Is Reportedly Expecting His First Child
Congratulations are in order for Meghan Markle‘s ex-boyfriend Cory Vitiello. The celebrity chef is reportedly expecting his first child with girlfriend and Dragonette singer Martina Sorbara.
Sources shared the news with Us Weekly, which comes just a couple weeks after Meghan’s royal wedding to Prince Harry. However, there are no hard feelings between the new Duchess of Sussex and her ex, who gushed about Meghan just a few days before she tied the knot. “I’m pleased for Meghan. She’s a great girl,” he told the Daily Mail. “There is no bitterness. I respect people’s private and personal lives, and although she has put herself in the public spectrum, I still hold to that.”
The former couple reportedly dated between 2014 and 2016 after meeting in Toronto, where Cory is based and Meghan filmed Suits. It has been alleged that Meghan was still with Cory when she met Prince Harry but neither has responded to rumors.
Along with Cory’s pregnancy announcement, Meghan’s ex-husband Trevor Engelson also recently popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Tracey Kurland. The film producer, who was married to Meghan for two years before filing for divorce in 2013, shared the exciting news on Instagram. “Luckiest guy I know! Get ready to party,” he captioned a photo, which showed off Tracey’s sparkling engagement ring.
So, when can fans expect an equally exciting announcement from Meghan and Harry? Well, royal spectators shouldn’t have to wait too long as the couple reportedly stopped using protection a month before their May nuptials. “Harry asked Meghan to ‘take out the goalie,’ a cheeky football joke about going off her birth control and removing any protection they have from her getting pregnant,” a royal insider told Hollywood Life. “They actually stopped using protection over a month ago, although they abstained from sex in the weeks leading up to the wedding. So on their wedding night the baby-making sex really got started. They are both excited about having children as soon as possible.”
