Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Share Rare Photo of Archie and Lilibet in 2024 Holiday Card
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, looked all grown up in a rare photo of the royal children in their 2024 holiday card.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared their annual family photo on Monday, December 16. In the photo, Meghan, 43, and Harry, 40, faced the camera as they opened their arms to embrace Archie and Lilibet as they ran toward their parents. Although both children, whose faces were facing the opposite direction, grew so much, Lilibet’s height was shocking as she almost stood as tall as her older brother. The little girl also has a red tint to her hair, though not as vibrant as Archie’s. The family was also accompanied by their dogs, Guy, Pula and Mamma Mia.
Archie and Lilibet’s rare photo was one of six featured on their forest green holiday card.
“We wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year,” the message read.
While a precious photo of Meghan and Harry was displayed in the photo gallery, so were a handful dedicated to their trip to Nigeria in May.

The royal couple has maintained the privacy of their kids after welcoming Archie in May 2019 and Lilibet in June 2021.
Although Meghan and Harry debuted a full-face photo of Archie one month after his birth, they waited longer to do the same for Lilibet. The pair celebrated their daughter’s first birthday by sharing the first public photo of her on June 6, 2022. In the photo, Lilibet sat on the grass while wearing a ruffled baby-blue dress and a white bow on the side of her head. The picture debuted her blue eyes and copper hair to the world.
Lilibet was spotted for the first time in public when Harry and Meghan took her to a 4th of July parade in Montecito, California. Harry dressed under the radar in jeans, a forest green button-up shirt, a similar-colored baseball cap and sunglasses. The U.K. native held Lilibet in his arms, who looked adorable in a blue dress, white stockings and red shoes, as her hair was pulled back in two pigtails.
Archie, for his part, has grown up into a sweet young boy over the years. After moving to Montecito in 2020, the eldest child learned how to swim, a source told Closer that September. The insider also shared that “Archie is such a character and loves being on FaceTime.”
“He’s full of energy and is a fast mover. Harry and Meghan can’t wait for him to make friends in the area,” the insider continued to the outlet.
Earlier this month, Harry made a rare comment about parenting and raising his children away from his royal family amid their estrangement.
“I very much enjoy living [in the U.S.] and bringing my kids up here. It’s a part of my life that I never thought I was going to live,” Harry admitted at The New York Times DealBook Online Summit on December 4. “I feel as though it’s the life that my mom wanted for me. To be able to do the things I’m able to do with my kids that I undoubtedly wouldn’t be able to do in the U.K. — it’s huge. That is a fantastic opportunity and I’m hugely grateful for that.”
