Miranda Lambert Is So Over Being the “Villain” in Her Split From Blake Shelton (EXCLUSIVE)

Over it. Miranda Lambert is tired of looking like the bad guy in her split from Blake Shelton. An insider exclusively tells Life & Style why the country starlet, 33, is fed up with the way her divorce from Blake, 41, continues to play out in the public eye.

“She was painted as the villain, and a lot of their friends in the industry took his side,” the insider says of Miranda, who recently told Billboard that there are “days where I can’t even stand up” when she thinks about the end of her four-year marriage to Blake.

According to the source, Blake’s romance with Gwen Stefani — which began in November 2015, just months after he and Miranda officially called it quits — made matters worse for the “Little Red Wagon” songstress.

“Even though she’s in a relationship with Anderson East, it still sucks to hear about Blake and Gwen all the time,” says the insider, adding that Miranda’s new tune “Six Degrees of Separation” — off her seventh studio album, The Weight of These Wings — was written in reaction to the Voice coaches’ headline-making relationship.

“Six degrees of separation / You’re all over this damn nation / But I’m out of your reach geographically,” she belts in the song. “But you still find a way to get a hold on me / And it’s six degrees of separation.”

During her chat with Billboard, Miranda revealed how she channeled the heartbreak she felt from her breakup with Blake into her latest record. “If you want to hear my side of the story or my opinion of what happened, it’s all on there. There’s no mystery anymore — take from it what you will,” she told the outlet. “I was like, ‘Let’s feel it all.’”
