The Kardashians Noticeably Missing From the Top 10 Instagram Posts of 2017!
The Kardashian-Jenner sisters are losing their social media touch. The most liked Instagram posts of 2017 have just been unveiled — and Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kylie, and Kendall are nowhere near the top 10 photos.
In fact, just three celebs control the most popular IG moments of the year: Selena Gomez, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Beyoncé. While (unsurprisingly) Queen Bey's iconic pregnancy announcement took first prize with over 11 million likes and over half a million comments, it was Selena who dominated, getting five of the top spots.
We have a feeling Kim predicted she was not as popular as she once was on the social media platform when she asked fans for help rebranding her online image. "I need more consistency on my Insta feed. Should I go back to all one filter? Please help," she wrote to her followers earlier this year. "I really need to step my Insta page up." It also didn't help that she took a hiatus from social media following her Paris robbery last year, which lasted into 2017.
However, back to the top Instagrammers of 2017. Soccer superstar Cristiano, 32, can thank his three new additions for putting him on the list. The Real Madrid player welcomed twins, reportedly via surrogate in June, and more recently, a baby girl with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, on Nov. 12. "So happy to be able to hold the two new loves of my life," he captioned a photo holding his newborns.
As for Selena, 25, it was her relationship with The Weeknd and her secret kidney transplant, that had fans double tapping. Plus, seeing as Selena has the most followers on the entire platform, it shouldn't come as a huge surprise she's all over the list. But we don't think it's too late for the Kardashians! With Khloé and Kylie both expecting, a pregnancy photoshoot could definitely get either of the sisters to the top of the 'gram. And if all else fails, Kim can also pose nude.
