Nicki Minaj Clears the Air on Rumored Feud With Cardi B Over the Rap Throne

She’s over it! Nicki Minaj was asked about her rumored feud with Cardi B while chatting with Beats 1 Radio’s Ebro Darden on Aug. 16. The “Chun Li” rapper revealed she didn’t know there was tension brewing between them, and if there is, Nicki is unaware.

“Now, I didn’t know Cardi and I had an issue, but I guess we do since you’re saying it and other people are saying it,” Nicki explained during her press run interview for her fourth studio album Queen. “To me, she may have taken an issue with things that I’ve said. But, I’m not going to bite my tongue. You gotta have thick skin, people talk s–t about me all the time. You can’t be expect to be liked and loved and praised all the f—–g time. Give me a break.”

Even though fans have speculated Nicki and Cardi have dissed each other subliminally through their songs, the former Love & Hip Hop: New York star previously claimed she had no problem with Nicki. “I just feel like it’s really Internet made-up,” Cardi said to Ebro during her interview with him in April. “I really feel like fans and people really want to see that happen because it’s really entertaining. To see people beef is entertaining.”

Nicki and Cardi B later collaborated on “Motorsport,” but because they didn’t film the official music video together, it fueled the feud rumors. However, Cardi cleared the air at the time, revealing how they both had busy schedules and really it was just an issue with availability. As of now, it looks like there’s no bad blood between Cardi and Nicki, which is a good thing!
