Patrick Starrr Reveals Kris Jenner Is One of His Biggest Fans: She ‘Just Slid Into My DMs’
Hard work pays off! With nearly 5 million followers on Instagram, Patrick Starrr has become one of the most popular beauty gurus in the game — and his undeniable talent has even captured the attention of Kris Jenner. Patrick shared his excitement about Kris reaching out to him while chatting with Life & Style exclusively at the It Gets Better: A Poolside Celebration event in Los Angeles.
When asked who his most shocking celebrity fan was, Patrick, 29, revealed that it was none other than Kris “mother freaking” Jenner. “She just slid in my DMs. I just launched my agency, The Beauty Coop, where I manage other influencers and she said ‘you know, as a momager, I’m so excited for you and if you need any advice let me know,'” Patrick shared, while noting how grateful he was.
During the interview, Patrick also revealed what Pride Month means to him and he further explained why it’s important to keep spreading positivity in this day and age. “Pride month is a celebration, recognizing the youth. Recognizing the community,” the influencer explained to Life & Style exclusively. “Gaining new allies is what it’s about. Without them, we cannot leverage our equality. It’s important through cinema and social media to amplify our existence,” he added.
Patrick is a part of It Gets Better’s #TheirStory initiative that encourages the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies to share a story about someone who inspires them, a person who helped them realize it gets better. When it comes to his celebrity inspiration, Patrick said he’s so impressed with Tyra Banks’ career and confidence. “At freaking 45, she’s on the cover of Sports Illustrated. She’s embracing her curves, her body, her face, her energy,” he dished. “Someone like her, who has been in the modeling game for so long and technically hasn’t retired. She retired from Victoria’s Secret, but as an advocate, as a minority, in her world of modeling, to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated is unmatched.”
Patrick even shared his thoughts on how to avoid getting involved in any social media feuds, after the James Charles and Tati Westbrook saga. So, how would he respond to the nay-sayers? Patrick told Life & Style, “Honey, I got no time for drama. The only drama I got is on my eyes.”
