It’s not easy having to relive an emotional rollercoaster, but Peter Kraus seems prepared to do that now. The 34-year-old took to his Instagram Story on Sunday, December 15, to reveal he’s finally ready to watch season 13 of The Bachelorette, which featured Rachel Lindsay and himself as the runner-up.

“Watching The Bachelorette in its entirety for the first time,” he wrote on a photo of his laptop screen, which displayed a still from episode 11 of the season. “It’s fine. I’m fine. It only took me two + years.”

In case you need a refresher, the final rose was either going to Peter or Bryan Abasolo, who ended up winning. However, many thought Peter was going to be the chosen one, until he decided not to propose and left, which meant Bryan was the final contestant. That all went down in 2017.

While many weren’t entirely convinced that Bryan was Rachel’s first choice, their lasting relationship is the perfect proof. Rachel and Bryan tied the knot in August 2019. “When you hold me in your arms, my world stops for a moment,” she captioned an Instagram photo from their wedding, adding “#happyonemonthanniversary #abasolutelyinlove #rnb #fortunate.”

What’s next for the couple? Kids are a possibility. “I don’t have a timeline,” she exclusively told Life & Style in June. “I have learned to get rid of that seeing how I am off my original life timeline — way off of it — so no more timelines for me … I [don’t] want to say, I want to start immediately but it’ll be sooner than later. I would like to start sooner than later, let’s just put it like that.”

She divulged how many children she would like. “I want four but that’s not going to happen now probably unless I just pop out triplets — and I don’t want to do that,” she said. “I mean, as many as we can in a healthy way — just being realistic and being 34, I know women are having children older and older.”

As for Peter, he seems to be playing the field. The reality star went on a date with Nikki Bella, which aired on Total Bellas in February. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a love connection between the two.

Who knows — maybe 2020 will be the year Rachel gets pregnant and Peter finds love once and for all!
