After getting engaged on The Bachelorette two years ago, Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are officially married, Life & Style can confirm! The couple tied the knot at the Royalton Suites Cancún in Mexico on Saturday, August 24, according to People, who was first to report the news. The reality babe has kept details about their big day pretty private so it’s amazing to see how all her planning has come together.
“Rachel was the epitome of elegance and grace as she walked down the aisle towards Bryan,” their wedding planner Michael Russo told the publication. “The ceremony was filled with so much joy, love and laughter.”
After meeting during season 13, Rachel, 34, and Bryan, 39, seemed all in from the beginning. They’ve taken a lot of big steps, including the Dallas native officially making the move to her hot hubby’s hometown of Miami. “I was a work in progress. It was a little hard for me to say, ‘OK, I’m going to pick up and leave,’ but it just makes so much more sense,” the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast host admitted exclusively to Life & Style in March during WE tv’s Bridezillas Fashion Show in NYC to celebrate the season 12 premiere.
The starlet explained that her hectic schedule makes it hard to maintain residences in both Texas and Florida. “Bryan has a business in Miami. I’m always traveling. There’s no point to really be in Dallas anymore, other than family,” she added.
What’s next for the newlyweds? Starting a family might not be far off. “I don’t have a timeline,” the former leading lady divulged exclusively to Life & Style while gushing about her and Bryan’s wedding registry on The Knot Registry. “I have learned to get rid of that seeing how I am off my original life timeline — way off of it — so no more timelines for me … I [don’t] want to say, I want to start immediately but it’ll be sooner than later. I would like to start sooner than later, let’s just put it like that.” One thing is for sure: They would have absolutely beautiful babies.
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Rachel and Bryan. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs.!
