Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay Reconnects With Ex Peter Kraus 3 Years After Split: ‘We’re Adults Here’
No animosity here! Former Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay said she recently “communicated” with ex Peter Kraus three years after their emotional split on the reality dating show.
The season 13 star, 35, acknowledged that her conversation with the fitness coach, 35, may be a “shocker” during the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast on Tuesday, September 15, but she added, “We’re adults here, we can all move on.”
“People are thinking of the last time we saw each other which was on stage, [but] that was three years ago,” Rachel told cohost Becca Kufrin, while explaining that her ex reached out for guidance amid the Black Lives Matter movement.
“He was asking me questions about it and stuff for some advice about responses he had gotten,” the Extra host said. Their brief reunion nearly sparked an innocent follow on social media, but the reality duo decided against it in order to avoid senseless rumors.
“We almost hit that follow button, but it would just turn into something that it shouldn’t,” the “Higher Learning” podcast host noted. “I still get messages that tell me, ‘You were really into Peter.’ It’s like, guys, I’m married now … It’s sad because we were like, ‘It’s probably not a good idea to hit that follow button.'”
Although Rachel and Peter are friendly acquaintances at best these days, that didn’t stop the Wisconsin native from praising her powerful appearance during The Bachelor: Women Tell All on March 2. The Bachelor Nation alum appeared during Peter Weber’s season for an emotional segment about online hate and bullying.
“[Rachel Lindsay], you absolutely owned it on that stage tonight of the Women Tell All,” Peter wrote via Twitter shortly after the episode aired. “You are one strong incredible woman. I am now and always have been so proud to have been a part of your season. Thank you.”
Of course, Rachel gave her final rose to Bryan Abasolo during the finale in 2017. They wed in August 2019 and celebrated their one-year anniversary in Aruba.
“One year + FOREVER … I love you and I am beyond thankful for you,” the Ghosted host gushed over the handsome doctor, 40, via Instagram.
