During the RHONJ season 9 reunion taping, the 46-year-old reality star revealed that if her husband does go back to Italy, the couple may “go our separate ways,” a source told Us Weekly.

On October 10, the 46-year-old businessman was sentenced to return to his home country of Italy.

Worried About His Family.

“I don’t understand how I can be deported on this case. If you will, I’ll tell you my side. I shouldn’t even be here right now,” he said via teleconference during the Pennsylvania hearing. “I have to go back and tell my kids this, and they’ve been waiting to hear from me.”

What Happened?

This all began in 2014 when the couple plead guilty to 41 counts of fraud. He also admitted to neglecting $200,000 in backed taxes that he did not pay.

The reality star spent 11 months in prison and was released in December of 2015.

Joe Had A Larger Punishment.

The father-of-four was sentenced to 41 months in prison.

And Then …

On Nov. 2, Judge Ellington shockingly declared that Joe was not “eligible” to reapply for admission back into the United States. The 13-page court document said, “Because [Joe] was admitted to the United States as a lawful permanent resident and he subsequently committed an aggravated felony, the Court finds that Respondent is ineligible for an INA 212 waiver.”

It Could All Be Rumors.

The workout queen recently told Andy Cohen that she would be open to the idea of moving with her hubby. “I mean, Italy’s a beautiful place to live. I mean, I wouldn’t mind. You know, I’m just saying,” she said in October.

The author has rallied to her partner’s defense and says she isn’t done fighting yet. During an appearance on the web show The Morning Toast, she confirmed, “Yes, we’re appealing.”

“Adults can handle anything, it’s the children. It’s not fair for them,” she added. “They’ve been through enough.”

They Do Have a Gorgeous Family.

The couple has four daughters: 18-year-old Gia, 15-year-old Gabriella, 14-year-old Milania, and 10-year-old Audriana.

She Feels for Them.

This isn’t the first time she’s mentioned the effect this has had on her kids. “You know, [it’s] heartbreaking. Very Sad. The girls are very upset. It’s hard for them,” she admitted to GMA host Michael Strahan. “Like I was telling you before, adults can handle anything. It’s hard for children to go through this. They’re asking themselves like, ‘Why is this happening to me? I want my daddy to come home.”

Teresa is staying strong in the face of single parenthood. She continued, “Yeah. I mean It’s very difficult. We’ve been through a lot. I’ve gone through ups and downs and being angry. I have to stay strong. I have four beautiful daughters that they need their mommy.”
