Ryan Reynolds Says It’s Getting ‘Harder’ to Leave the House After the Birth of His 3rd Child
Now that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively welcomed their third child together, they have less reasons to want to leave each other’s side — especially the 43-year-old Deadpool star. Ryan admitted that after his wife gave birth, it has become a challenge leaving them whenever he has to step out for work.
“Leaving the house is getting harder and harder,” he told Today on Thursday, December 12. “It gets a lot harder when they ask, ‘Where are you going? When are you coming home? Why are you leaving me?'” Aw! It looks like they’re inseparable.
The couple shares three daughters — James, Inez and their newborn, whose name they have yet to reveal. Clearly, in their household, girls rule, and Ryan has no problem with that. “It’s all women. I’d have it no other way,” he said. The actor said he’s “doing his part to wipe men off the face of earth.” LOL.
While Ryan loves his girls, he was hoping to have a son, according to a source who exclusively spoke to Life & Style in May. “They already have two daughters James, 4, and 2-year-old Inez, and while they’re just hoping for a healthy child, they’re secretly wanting a boy,” the insider divulged. “Ryan says he’s outnumbered at home, he’s trying to even the playing field, so a son would be great.” Who knows? Maybe their next baby will be a boy. But for now, Ryan and Blake seem to be happy with their cute little family of girls.
As parents of three, the couple is always busy, but they still make sure to prioritize their relationship. “They keep the romance alive with date nights!” another source exclusively told Life & Style in December. “Even if it means doing something simple, like going on a hike, enjoying a home-cooked dinner together or movie night — they’re an extremely private couple and aren’t really into the Hollywood scene.” Privacy seems to be a key element on keeping their relationship intact!
