Scarlett Johansson and Fiancé Colin Jost Share a Sweet Kiss at the 2020 Golden Globes
Another awards season, another opportunity to fawn over Hollywood’s cutest couples. Enter: Scarlett Johansson and her fiancé, Colin Jost. The A-list pair stepped out at the 2020 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 5, looking more smitten than ever.
The longtime Marvel star, 35, looked gorgeous in a billowing red gown, while the Saturday Night Live personality, 37, wore a simple black tux. ScarJo kept her ensemble extremely elegant with a diamond necklace, simple earrings and a low bun. Needless to say, they couldn’t keep their hands off of each other!
Of course, we’re hardly surprised to see Colin on Scarlett’s arm! After all, it’s a big night for the Lost in Translation alum. Scarlett is nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama) for her portrayal of Nicole in Marriage Story. As incredible as Scarlet’s performance was, the competition is certainly steep in the esteemed category.
She’s up against Cynthia Ervio in Harriet, Saoirse Ronan in Little Women, Charlize Theron in Bombshell and Renée Zellweger in Judy. Talk about an impressive group of women, huh? Hopefully, with Colin by Scarlett’s side, her nerves will be tamed. The lovebirds, who got engaged in May 2019, are truly a match made in celebrity heaven.
“Scarlett’s been married twice before and is hoping it’ll be third time lucky with Colin,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “She really believes in marriage and can’t wait to walk down the aisle again. She knows he’s in the right guy for her!” On top of knowing Colin is The One, ScarJo also thinks the comedian will make a wonderful father.
“Scarlett isn’t waiting around to tie the knot because she wants to start a family with Colin straight away,” the insider continued. “In her eyes, he has it all — looks, charm, intelligence and wit. She can’t stop raving to friends about how they’ll make the most adorable babies together!”
As it happens, Colin already gets along incredibly well with Scarlett’s daughter, Rose, whom she coparents with ex Romain Dauriac. “Scarlett was surprised at what a natural Colin is with her daughter. Even though he’d never want to replace Romain as a dad, he treats Rose as his own,” the source gushed. “She adores him and they’ll spend hours playing together — he’s a great entertainer and will have her in hysterics.”
So sweet! We can’t wait to see more of Scarlett and Colin this awards season.
