A glow like that doesn’t just come from a night of good music — no offense, Kacey! In fact, Selena has been in terrific sports all summer and she isn’t afraid to show it.

Shortly after celebrating her 27th birthday in Italy with loved ones, Selena took to Instagram to share a thoughtful post with fans. “Sometimes I can’t express how truly grateful I am. Now … back to work,” the former Disney Channel star captioned the photos on August 1.

Considering Selena hasn’t released a studio album since Revival in 2015, the latter half of her message — ahem, “back to work” — garnered a lot (and we mean A LOT) of attention.

“So happy to see you happy and cannot wait for what’s to come,” one fan gushed. “I love you! So proud of you for getting back to work. Rock that new record, girl!” added another.

As it stands, Selena has yet to give us any more clues about her future music endeavors. However, we’re just pleased to see her thriving since leaving a rehabilitation facility in November 2018.

Selena is “focusing on the positive,” a source revealed to Life & Style in June. “She desperately wanted to be happy and that’s why she took this latest treatment so seriously.”

The insider continued, “It hasn’t been easy, and she still sees a therapist regularly, but she’s managed to overcome many of her obstacles. She never wants to be in such a dark place again.” You’re so resilient, Selena! We can’t wait to see what else your bright future holds.
