29 looks white hot on JoJo! Hours before the singer’s birthday celebrations began, she took to Instagram to share a fire selfie. On Thursday, December 19, the star snapped a mirror shot as she flaunted her curves in a structured bodysuit. Though she couldn’t help but call out her mom for “judging” in the background of her photo, fans couldn’t tear their eyes away from her.

“Yesssssss, go AWF, Jo! ♥️♥️♥️” fellow musician Jordin Sparks commented, ignoring her pal’s playful caption. “My gawd!” a fan agreed with a heart-eye emoji. “Girl, you just keep getting better. ❤️” Another chimed in, “Scrolled past this and then back up so fast I got whiplash. MA’AM!!!!!” A third added, “WOW, SHE DID THAT.”

Pretty much everyone agreed that JoJo, who turned 29 on Friday, December 20, looked flawless in the photo. But that’s hardly anything new for the “Too Little Too Late” songstress. Back in October, she proved she doesn’t need much more than herself to turn heads as she stripped down to her undies to take another steamy shot. It seems she’s “feeling herself” pretty regularly these days, and she’s not shy when it comes to posting selfies on the ‘gram.

The photos also prove that, despite the fact that she’s almost 30, the blonde beauty looks just as young as ever. And she doesn’t hate it! “Being a baby-faced old soul is great because people are constantly confused by your age,” read a meme she posted just four days before her birthday. “Am I 18?? Am I 24?? Am I 35?? Am I an 800-year-old swamp witch that stays youthful by eating the hearts of men? Honestly, anything is possible.”

A few weeks earlier, JoJo also took the opportunity to reflect on her age and growing up as she celebrated the release of her music video for her single “Sabotage” with rapper Chika Oranika. “Thanks to my babe @chikalogy for blessing us with a truthy and firey verse,” she wrote on December 4. “We filmed this in downtown L.A., but today I’m in the desert 🌵- reflecting and reorienting (reading, journaling, solitude, reiki, soundbath). With my twentyFINEth birthday comin’ up on the 20th, it feels like the time to get right before the new year.”

Opening up about her goals for the future, she continued, “I want to leave negative thoughts and saboteur ways in my wake. It’s fear-based preemptive s–t. And, quite frankly, I’m tired of it. But, if you, too, find yourself running away from or pushing away people you love: It’s OK! You’re not a monster! Nothing is the end of the world until it’s literally the end of the world! If you’re depressed or anxious or ashamed: Everything will be OK. Forgive yourself. Life is hard and weird and wild. We all deal differently. You’re doing the best you can right now within your circumstance. But I promise you have more power than you think you do. Hone in. Get real about learning and loving yourself. Listen to your internal guidance. Protect your peace once you find it. We’re all gonna have some bumps along the road. Love you. – jo”
