We’ve only got one word for this look: wow. Natalie Portman turned heads when she appeared at the premiere for her new film, Lucy in the Sky, in Los Angeles wearing this gorgeous and sleek mini dress. One side of the skirt even had some pleats — very chic. But the stand out aspect of this ‘fit is most certainly that plunging neckline. Plus, those strappy heels and red lip really tie the simple yet sexy look together. Considering the 38-year-old had to spend the evening next to costar Jon Hamm, we don’t blame her for looking tip top!

Jameela Jamil, September 25

While we love what Jameela Jamil has to say on body positivity and self image, we don’t really feel too positively about this ‘fit. Wearing MSGM, the actress does kill the whole pantsuit vibe, but the pattern is a little too much of an eyesore to be a win for florals. Plus, the lapels on this jacket don’t do the print any favors — even though it seems like that’s what they were going for with the design. Luckily, the 33-year-old had an an outfit change while attending WE Day UN, and her second choice of suiting was much more, well, suited to her.

Everyone knows this momager is a style maven — but it’s a whole other scenario when you see her strutting her stuff on the street. Kris Jenner made an appearance in her best fall ‘fit yet while out and about during Paris Fashion Week and can we just talk about this insane cape she’s got going on? Not only is the cream colored coat a huge win, but the leather-style jumpsuit underneath packs a serious punch. Add that gorgeous and bright new collection Balmain bag and you’ve got yourself a ~power lewk~. Well, that is, if you have about $1900 on hand … that’s how much one of these suede bags starts at.

Karlie Kloss, September 25

This model is known for her runway attitude … but we’re not too impressed with her runway sensibilities in this look. Karlie Kloss made an appearance at the Dior store opening during Paris Fashion Week and her choice of pieces from the designer left something to be desired. This plaid on plaid look is a little too “back-to-school” for our liking, and while we’d love to get homework from her, we’d rather the 27-year-old hand us assignments in a cuter outfit. Just sayin’. Though we will give her tons of credit for those Dior heels; the pointed toe definitely gives her legs a sexy, slim look. Oh, and that smoldering stare. No one does it quite like Karlie, even when it isn’t her greatest ‘fit.

~Someone~ has their transitional looks on point! Emily Ratajkowski was spotted out and about with friends, and needless to say, this one-piece look from her brand, Inamorata, was the perfect fit for a still-warm NYC. Since her brand is synonymous with basics, this ‘fit was a shoe-in to highlight some of the 28-year-old’s favorite accessories. The belt, sunglasses and snakeskin baguette bag tie the entire look together — and, of course, we can’t forget about her wedding ring, courtesy of hubby Sebastian Bear-McClard. Oh, and those white boots. What a stunner.

Someone seriously brought school vibes to the Thom Browne show at Paris Fashion Week! Cardi B lit up the front row (and the streets, TBH) in all her most fashionable ‘fits during the annual 7-day celebration — but the most ~autumnal~ of them all was this gray skirt and accented blazer combo. The rapper, 26, complimented the intelligent feel of the look with perfectly primped hairdo and smart spectacles. Add that (seriously huge) briefcase bag and you’ve got yourself a professor … of swag.

Charli XCX, October 2

This singer definitely has a penchant for the flamboyant — but this vibrant ‘fit was a little too disjointed for our liking. Charli XCX hit a lot of great marks with this look, don’t get us wrong. The dress itself is super cute and that burnt orange is perfect for October. Plus, it does mesh well with purple. Hello, Halloween! However, we would have rather seen maybe a knee-high sock or opaque tights with this fun and flirty frock. It seems as though the purple leggings the 27-year-old wore while performing in Oakland are actually part of a full-body suit, which really stifles the look by covering her upper chest.

Jennifer Lopez, October 3

Can you say “stunner?” The legendary Miss Jennifer Lopez was spotted shooting her new movie, Marry Me, in downtown NYC — and TBH, how could you even miss her? The gorgeous singer, 50, looked sleek and sexy in a bright red, sequined gown by Alex Perry, which, no joke, retails for a hefty $2,400. Her matching heels, with a criss-cross PVC front strap, are Gianvito Rossi and will run you another $800. But honestly, if you look this perfect, the price tag might actually be worth it.

Jennifer Garner, October 2

This actress has served us some serious elegance over her 20-plus years in the biz — but this style attempt at grace fell a little too flat. Jennifer Garner attended the Save the Children Centennial Celebration in L.A. in a sweetheart-cut jumpsuit … which may have been a better choice if it didn’t have that bow. That’s not to say one can’t rock a little statement fabric, but with that big, beautiful diamond necklace, it’s better to make one item the star of the show, you know?

Growing up is all about finding your style — and actress/YouTuber Skai Jackson clearly has a handle on fashion. The 17-year-old stepped out to appear on the Today show in this plaid midi dress with fur cap sleeves, a ‘fit that truly had us giving thanks to the gods of chilly weather and turning leaves. She also rocked these brown patent leather boots that really tie the whole look together. TBH, Skai may have been the style student to Miss Cardi’s professor this week. We’re back in class, y’all!

Hailey Baldwin, October 6

Here comes the bride! Hailey Baldwin just became a Bieber — and clearly she wants to keep in the ~wedding theme~ a little while longer with this look. The satin set from Nanushka totally gave us bridal suite vibes without being too casual for the street. She paired the cute ‘fit with an outlandish yet trendy pair of Gentle Monster x Alexander Wang M.Priss sunglasses and a cute Louis Vuitton fanny pack, which is so in right now. We stan a married (and fashionable) lady.

Christina Hendricks, October 6

Before we start to name the things Christina Hendricks got wrong with this look, let’s start with a few things she got right — namely, everything but that dress. Her hair looked super cute styled curly with a bit of bang, plus tying it in with those round-rimmed sunglasses gives her a ’60s/’70s feel. Where the ‘fit falls flat, though, is in this yellow Dolce & Gabbana dress. The Mad Men alum really didn’t do herself any favors with this print, which is the real issue in this look. The dress itself is actually a great (and well liked) cut for Christina — but we could do without the storybook cat design. Not saying we don’t love cats, though. Meow.

If you thought this list was just for the ladies — think again. Aaron Paul made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel to promote the new Breaking Bad flick El Camino and the dude absolutely rocked this Baz Lurhman’s Romeo + Juliet ‘fit. Aren’t y’all getting Leo DiCaprio vibes right now?! TBH, we’d even suggest trying this one for yourselves: patterned button-up, leather biker jacket and tailored trousers. You won’t regret it.

Cheryl Cole, October 9

Liam Payne‘s baby mama is a pretty stylish gal — but Cheryl Cole missed the mark with this look while attending the Attitude Awards in London. This dress by The Attico is heavy on the cleavage (not a bad thing) but that neckline is a little stifling on such a flirty piece (a bad thing). Without that, the look is pretty solid … but until then, it misses the mark. Gotta love a knee-high boot, though.

Kate Middleton, October 9

The Duchess of Cambridge didn’t come to play. Kate Middleton looked so classy at the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity that we almost ran out to find lookalike pieces immediately. The royal mama wore a gorgeous plum-colored sweater and paired it with olive green palazzo pants and a nice pump. She tied the look together with a sweet, small Chanel purse featuring a top handle. The silhouette of this look, coupled with her choice of bag, really makes this an all-around home run ‘fit.

Katy Perry, October 11

This pop star didn’t come to play! Katy Perry looked like a perfect princess in this gorgeous and extravagant gown at the “Silence the Violence” benefit concert in Washington. Not only is this floral print perfect for saying goodbye to summer, but the light blue really works for her skin tone. Add those embellished sleeves and you’ve got yourself a fairy tale. The singer certainly looked like she stepped out of one, don’t you think?

Some things just don’t mix and match — case in point, this pattern and that skirt. Jessica Biel came out to the Limetown photocall in Los Angeles, and don’t get us wrong, she didn’t completely miss the mark with this look. But she did make a few unforgivable mistakes. This dress seems like it would work well for her as two separate entities: the top would make a great dress or blouse on its own, for starters. The mock neck and slim sleeves look great with her tailored hairdo, too. But that skirt … well, it needs to be out of this ‘fit.

Gina Gershon, October 15

Talk about a legend! Actress Gina Gershon brought her trendy side out to play while attending the Grand Classics with Mark Ronson event. Everything about this pantsuit ~lewk~ screams style and wisdom. She killed the whole blue and black color scheme (which some people detest, but we love when done right), but where the outfit really excels is in the accessories. The white boots and kerchief are LIFE, y’all.

Cynthia Erivo, October 16

Sometimes, you gotta take a fashion risk! It may seem like a big one that Miss Cynthia Erivo took with this look at the BAFTA Harriet premiere — but either way, it really paid off. The dress is such a win for her body shape and skin tone. Plus, believe it or not, she really did an excellent job of ~matching~ all the accessories that pop. Her shoes, necklace and even green hair tie this ‘fit together with a bow. Very impressive, yet effortless.

Victoria Beckham, October 17

Usually, Posh Spice is on our fashionable faves, so it saddens us to see her here this week. Victoria Beckham was spotted out and about in this incredibly chic skirt suit … which was sadly ruined by the presence of leopard-print, over-the-knee boots. Not only is it puzzling to see the boots as part of this outfit, they are also open-toed. Needless to say, the combination is a bit frustrating. The suit is really incredible on its own — but next time, Vic, we ask you pick basically any other pair of boots.

Rita Ora, October 21

Admittedly, Miss Rita Ora can be hit or miss when it comes to style — only because she tries everything. This time, it worked out for her, because this gorgeous red ensemble piece is perfect when you want to stand out but wanna keep it fall chic. This red dress is really flowy, stunning and would work well alone … but add this funky hat and you’ve got a full fall ‘fit right here. Good job, girl!

Zendaya, October 21

Euphoria star Zendaya is a style queen who can do no wrong … most of the time. We’ve seen her hit the town in menswear and some seriously sexy looks — but this one she wore to the 2019 InStyle Awards just totally missed the mark. We see glimpses of her menswear sensibilities in the slacks and heels combo, but that top is ill cut and definitely doesn’t suit her. If only the top had been a blazer, or even a more fitted sweetheart neck.

Jason Momoa, October 24

This sexy Game of Thrones alum knows a thing or two about street style it seems. Jason Momoa stepped out in this pink-hued ‘fit in London and we’ve gotta say: This is how you do it, gentlemen. The two shades work extremely well together, plus, his shoes and necklace add subtle flair to a really classy look. On top of that, he’s also extremely good looking so it’s not too much of a chore to analyze this choice. Thanks, Jase.

Even models make mistakes. Bella Hadid was spotted out and about in this cargo patchwork number and we really aren’t fans. She’s definitely willing to try a lot of more daring pieces in her street style endeavors (hello, that model ~access~) but sometimes, you have to know when something just isn’t as trendy as it wants to be. Honestly, the turtleneck underneath with the slacks and Docs would’ve been a pretty decent look on their own. Sometimes, less is, in fact, more.

Kim Kardashian, October 24

Our girl Kim Kardashian has been living in the lap of Yeezy luxury lately when it comes to her wardrobe — tons of sweats, sneaks and, obviously, Skims. This look, however, is a little sexier than her recent looks and we really love it. The middle Kardashian babe was spotted out in NYC in this ruched, bodycon number that hugged literally all of her curves just right. Plus, the off-the-shoulder cut is really in right now. Way to class it up, Kimmy.

Dakota Johnson, October 27

This Brandon Maxwell look, courtesy of actress Dakota Johnson at the Governors Awards in Los Angeles, is seriously something to behold. The structured waist of the skirt and subtle curve of the bodice put a different spin on your typical ballgown — or even wedding dress, should you be fixing to walk down the aisle. Considering it has been on the warmer side this season, this is actually a really lovely look to hit up your nearest gala in. Good job, Dakota — you nailed this one.

Jennifer Lopez, October 27

Usually, Jennifer Lopez is one of the pinnacles of great style during any season. But we really can’t get down with this Reem Acra gown she wore to the Governors Awards. We’ve seen dresses like this before on other women, and time and time again, they all look like you’ve wrapped a towel around you and walked out of the house. Despite the fact that J. Lo is utterly gorgeous and her makeup and hair are on point, it just doesn’t save you from the sloppiness of the cut of this gown. Better luck next time, J.

Cate Blanchett, October 29

Legends do legendary things … including wearing great outfits. Cate Blanchett rocked this sweet jumpsuit at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards — and needless to say, it really is a perfect fit. This Armani Prive piece brought subtle pops of color together with a great neckline. The wide leg on the pants also call on the latest trends in bottoms, too. All in all, this is something we’d suggest wearing to a function of any caliber during the fall months.

Jennifer Aniston, October 29

Jennifer Aniston continued to show off her style as she and her costar Reese Witherspoon did press for their upcoming Apple series The Morning Show … and we have to say, her choices have been better. This black dress and blazer just feels a little too stuffy for our liking, almost like the actress was too chilly to rock another look. That’s not to say we think something more revealing would have been better — maybe just shedding the jacket would’ve done the trick. We know Jen is good at a classic black ‘fit (she’s worn several on this junket) but this one missed the mark.

The English singer-songwriter is known for rocking good streetwear style on stage, but Anne-Marie really showed up and out with this classy dress and tights combo at the UNICEF Halloween Ball in London. This tight-fitting mini dress has a great neckline that’s not too embellished — it’s just enough and doesn’t bleed into ~Halloween costume~ territory. Plus, the tights vamp up this look. It’s a great contrast to her stark white hair … and definitely a great example of an excellent and dressy fall ‘fit.

Add her Docs, sunglasses and super fun lime green mini purse and you’ve got yourself an easily emulated fall staple ‘fit.

Last week, she was on our Best Dressed list. This week, Kim Kardashian is going to hear a thing or two from us about her outfit at the 9th Annual WSJ Innovator Awards. Here’s the issue, Kimmy — there’s a lot of great cuts and specifics in this look. The sleeves, the corset, the neckline and even the use of denim are all really great … but when you throw them all together in one, it becomes a bit of a mess. We’d love to have seen a sleeveless corset here, Kim, but we get that you’re a risk-taker.

Yeah, you’re seeing QUADRUPLE. Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall — a.k.a. English pop group Little Mix — came through with brocade all day in this four-way look for the PrettyLittleThing and Little Mix collection launch party. What’s awesome about these looks is that they really capitalize on a great fabric … but they don’t rest on their laurels one bit. Each girl is outfitted in an entirely different cut and fit than the next — and they all really look slammin’. It’s hard to pick a favorite (since we really would wear them all) but Perrie’s choice of a bodice over a tailored top is just too good.

If you’ve been looking for fall closet inspo since the summertime and just haven’t settled on a ~motif~ yet, we may have found one you could get down with. Actress Kristen Bell was spotted in this gorgeous color block look and we’re honestly running out to recreate the outfit as we speak. The maroon set underneath the lilac coat — it’s a color scheme that fits well together and still feels seasonal. Plus, her shades match perfectly with her top and pants. Like, what?! Add those light pink pumps and you’ve got yourself a bonafide fall ‘fit, ladies and gentleman.

Hailee Steinfeld, November 12

The thing about Hailee Steinfeld‘s look here is that, believe it or not, it’s actually better separate than together. The structured bodice with the shoulder shrug is quite trendy — and even the pleated skirt could be cool with the right top. But when you put these two pieces together, it feels as though the outfit is trying too many things at once. We’d love to see the top with a structured black pant (front pleat a must). The skirt would pair better with a bright and colorful blouse — maybe even something silk to complement the pleating. Better luck next time, babe.

At a press conference in India, singer Katy Perry stunned in this adorable pink and yellow polka-dotted number. There are so many amazing facets to this look, it kinda makes our head spin. First off, the color combination is pitch perfect. The sleeves on this mini dress are so on trend — plus, they go perfectly with the playfulness of the 35-year-old’s hairdo for the event. To top it all off, her fuzzy pink heels are the perfect addition to such a characterized and fun ‘fit. If you’re looking to make a smash at your next nighttime event, this is a great place to find your party inspo.

Sorry, Anna Kendrick, but all we’ve got on our minds right now is whether or not you missed the party bus to prom. This dress the 34-year-old wore to the Noelle screening definitely screams junior or senior year of high school. To be fair, it may have been slightly salvageable if you got rid of the huge, obnoxious bow and the train that comes with it. Being an actress, we understand Anna’s desire to make a statement — but this is certainly not the one you want to make, girl.

Can Gigi Hadid stop being such a stunner?! Since that’s never going to happen, let’s just gush over her gorgeous gown at the 2019 CMA Awards. Her iridescent, sleek dress was a red carpet win if we’ve ever seen one — and the slightly high neck on the piece really set it apart from other bodycon looks out there right now. The boots (rather than your typical pump) are a nice touch to the overall feel of the ‘fit and her makeup ties it all together. Brava, G!

Hello, gorgeous! Actress Sienna Miller opted for a suit during her appearance on the Today show — but the more comfortable ‘fit definitely didn’t disappoint. The burgundy pinstripe look gives serious effortless vibes, which is exactly how you want to look when you’re going anywhere or meeting anyone important, you know? The decision to go with a scoop-neck top underneath the jacket also gives the suit a more casual feel — so it’s like you’re here to lay down the law and then have a laugh. Normally, Big Payno (as he’s so affectionately called) has his fashion chops down pat — but something about this outfit Liam Payne wore to the And Juliet musical press night just doesn’t sit right with us. They’re not fully a drop-crotch style, but they come close enough to where they make him look too short. We know you’re not that little, sir, so stop making yourself look tiny!

Though Gigi Hadid and her sister, Bella, have been the champions of style with a streetwear edge in the last year, even they have fashion fumbles. The top definitely looks warm but the print leaves a lot to be desired — the distressed tie-dye thing is currently in, but we’d love a bit more color on the model. Plus, the denim is a really cute piece of the look and it would work better with something a little more fun.

This fall ‘fit from Chrissy Teigen is an absolutely perfect example of a sweet look that will keep you cozy and cute during a day out with friends or family. The usage of the large scarf makes for a great way to keep warm and it almost gives a kimono sort of vibe underneath her cropped jacket. And you can’t go wrong with over-the-knee boots and a good pair of jeans. This casual outfit is a real win for the hostess — and it’s easy to emulate for your next jam-packed fall day.

While we really love the cropped and bejeweled slacks, the cropped top just doesn’t have the same effect. In fact, the outfit would’ve packed a better punch had she rocked a more plain blazer and let the slacks and shoes do the talking. You live, you learn.

Hey, hottie — you’ve done it again. The younger Hadid sis did not come to the Dior Menswear Pre-Fall 2020 show to play and this look is totally proof. Fall is a great time to channel your inner boss and pantsuits are an excellent way to do it and still feel sexy. This Dior Mens suit the 23-year-old wore to the runway presentation capitalized on a funky pattern and classed it right up. Add some strappy heels, like Bella did, and you’ve got yourself a great ‘fit for feeling fly at after work drinks.

We all know the girls from English pop group Little Mix have their style prowess on point … but everyone falls flat now and then. We totally get where Jesy Nelson was going with this delicate look — that beret is cute. But the actual Heron Preston dress itself doesn’t quite achieve that cute French gal bit the beret implies. This gorgeous and sparkling mini gave her cleavage just the right amount of attention with its neckline and the shoes to match were the perfect touch. It’s simple, yes, but sometimes less is more. Plus, you can’t stay the sexy style move didn’t go well with her new blonde locks. Good call, Du!

While we usually love model Lily Aldridge‘s style, this baggy fall ‘fit definitely misses the mark as a fully fledged ensemble. We really love the top half, actually — the thick turtleneck sweater with a jacket draped over top is a great autumnal staple. But the baggy slacks tucked into stark white knee high boots? They’re just a bit too ill-fitting and, honestly, they scream equestrian in all the wrong ways. Next time, we’d try a tighter fit pant with the baggy top. Contrast is key!

While Selena Gomez was out and about in London, she showed off this ‘fit by J.W. Anderson — and, needless to say, it’s a bit messy. The golden trousers are certainly eye-catching, but they seem to be a bit too baggy and possibly even too long for the pop singer, 27. The classic trench coat would normally be a welcomed accessory but it dulls the whole look. Ultimately, this outfit is confusing in that we’re not exactly sure what Sel is going for here. Maybe she needs to figure it out and then get back to us.

Wow! Charlize Theron‘s lavender suit at the Hollywood Reporter‘s ‘Women in Entertainment’ Gala was a serious head-turner. The gorgeous Givenchy piece fit right in with the actress’ sleek style and her pixie cut actually elevated the look in a very easy way. Plus, her tailored top and black heels accented the look and anchored it with a subtle finish. Also, peep those black nails! This isn’t the 44-year-old’s first fashion rodeo — and it shows.

We get wanting to dress for the Christmas spirit around you — but model Daisy Lowe‘s choice for the Absolut Crackers Christmas party in London was a bit of a wash on that front. Though the red sparkle look isn’t entirely bad, the ill-fitting romper look is just wrong on the brunette beauty, who, honestly, looks good in pretty much everything. This would have been a way better choice had it been a pantsuit. Every babe looks good in a power suit, y’know?

This Irish actress is usually pretty on point when it comes to her style choices, but Saoirse Ronan looked a little too sleepy when she appeared on This Morning in London. Ultra-casual wear is definitely in right now, but there’s a fine line between looking trendy and looking ready to hit the hay. This ‘fit by Mother of Pearl is bright and beautiful but there’s something about it that puts it into tired territory. We would’ve loved to see a more tailored and structured top with these pants, maybe.

Harry Styles, December 18

This absolutely excellent outfit from Harry Styles while visiting his pop-up shop in London is the epitome of fall fashion. Rocking his own merchandise (a T-shirt collab with Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele, no less) and a custom-made wool jacket by Bode, this look is warm and cute at the same time. Plus, his now-signature wide-legged trousers and suspenders tie the whole thing together and give us such a unique vibe. Self-promo can be cute, y’all! (Oh, and those PEARLS.)
