Snooki Claps Back at Mom-Shamers After Drinking Wine While Breastfeeding: ‘Let a Mawma Live’
Once again, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has the perfect response for mommy shamers. The 31-year-old took to Instagram recently and shared a photo of herself drinking wine while feeding her baby Angelo, and the trolls were quick to call her out for drinking alcohol while breastfeeding. Luckily, the Jersey Shore star is the queen of clapbacks.
“What’s mom life like with 2 kids and a newborn? THIS. #MomJuice #ImAGoodMomISwear,” the mom of three captioned the photo, in which she’s holding her baby and sipping at the same time. Not everyone seemed on board with Snooki’s photo and message. “You’re not suppose to drink alcohol if you breastfeeding your baby,” one user commented. Snooki replied, “You’re not a mom. I allow myself to have a few glasses once a week to stay sane with three kids. I do what’s necessary to clean my milk for my baby,” she said. “Let a mawma live and keep being 17.” Well said!
While many looked down on Snooki’s post, her fans and those who know her best took to the comments section to show her love. “I’m feelin’ this one,” wrote singer Jessie James Decker. “This is skill!” commented Lauren Sorrentino, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s wife, while her bestie, JWoww commented a bunch of hands-up emojis.
This isn’t the first time Snooki clapped back at the haters. On July 5, the brunette beauty shared a mirror pic of herself rockin’ a bikini and captioned it, “Ready for the weekend. Thank you to my Snookinis for covering up this mawma’s postpartum body and trouble areas.” Then a user commented and wrote, “You got any different poses, ma?” Snooki did not hesitate to respond. “Is my one leg pose bothering you, pa?” she replied. Yes, girl!
The reality star gave birth to Angelo on May 30, and you can’t even tell she had a baby. No wonder she’s unbothered — she’s doing great!
