Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino And Wife Lauren Honeymoon In A Desert Ahead Of His Prison Sentence
Honeymoon time! Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is making the best of his time as a free man. The Jersey Shore reality star shared a sweet selfie with his wife, Lauren Sorrentino (formerly Pesce), as they enjoy their honeymoon.
The 36-year-old took to Instagram to post the loving photo of himself and his wife on Monday, Dec. 11, in which they appear to be surrounded by the great outdoors. “Hello Honeymooners,” Mike captioned the photo along with honey and cactus emojis. Meanwhile, on Lauren’s Instagram page, she posted a boomerang clip of herself catching some sun poolside “in the desert,” while showing off her booty in a black bathing suit.
The couple got married in November, almost a month after news broke that the reality star was sentenced to eight months in prison for tax evasion charges and has until Jan. 15, 2019 to surrender. While it’s sad that the Mike will have to give up his new comfortable lifestyle next to Lauren as a free man, fortunately, he’s staying positive through the support of his loved ones.
Vinny Guadagnino previously told Life & Style, “Mike is the strongest person that we all know. His recovery from substances has led him to be in this like bulletproof mind state that he’s just able to take on all these challenges. He’s the most positive guy in the house and he still does that up until this moment. Like, I’m not even joking. I’m like, what can break this guy? You know, he’s human. You know, it’s going to be tough, but at the same time, like he’s the one to handle it.”
So true! Out of all the castmates on the show, Mike has been the one to dramatically change for the better. We applaud him for it and we have no doubts that he’ll be okay!
