Sofia Richie Denies She’ll Be on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’: ‘I’m Just Very Private’
There’s one face we definitely won’t be seeing on the 16th season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. As fans are ramping up for the premiere on March 31, people couldn’t help but wonder if Sofia Richie would be on the reality show alongside her boyfriend, Scott Disick. The model is here to say that the idea doesn’t really appeal to her.
“Not that I’m against it, [but] I’m just very private,” the 20-year-old admitted to Us Weekly on February 14 while celebrating Valentine’s Day with her beau, 35, at the Sugar Factory American Brasserie inside the Theater Box in San Diego.
The reality veteran is also currently working to launch a show about flipping houses on E!, and you won’t be catching the Instagram queen on there either. “Oh, God no. He’s the expert … I might put in my two cents, but he’s the expert,” she dished. We guess there won’t be any Chip and Joanna Gaines vibes coming from this duo any time soon.
It turns out, the Lord is totally cool when it comes to her resistance of coming on either show. “Everyone has their own choices and nobody should have to do anything they don’t want to do … It’s her choice,” he explained.
Their romantic date night was filled with sweet treats, a screening of Isn’t It Romantic and Sofia getting gifted a pink Chanel bag. All around it looked like a fab day!
The unexpected pair were first spotted together in May of 2017 and have grown closer every month. The daughter of music icon Lionel Richie even started vacationing with the Kar-Jenner clan, including a getaway to Mexico with Scott and the mother of his three kids, Kourtney Kardashian.
Apparently, co-parenting Mason, 9, Penelope, 6, and Reign, 4, has been going great. “I feel like I show a message too, of, like, parents can get along and work together,” the 39-year-old reality starlet said during an appearance on the Today show. “We travel together and … I think it’s a good message to show other people. I’m not doing it for that reason, but I think the positive things that we are doing, it’s nice, too.”
Although we probably won’t see her on our television screens, it looks like Sofia is here to stay!
