Sofia Richie Still Feels Like ‘The Third Wheel’ To Scott Disick And Kourtney Kardashian
Will she ever be his No. 1 lady? Sofia Richie appeared to wipe away tears during a heated exchange with her longtime boyfriend, Scott Disick, at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, Australia, on Nov. 3. According to a source, the 20-year-old felt left out when the reality star failed to invite her on a family vacation with his ex and baby mama, Kourtney Kardashian, and their three kids — Mason, 8, Penelope, 6, and Reign, 3 — to Bali last month.
“Scott’s trying his best not to upset either of the women in his life,” the source revealed to Life & Style magazine, “but nothing seems to stop Sofia from feeling like the third wheel to Kourtney.”
Hmmm, perhaps the model’s insecurities would lessen if Scott stopped discussing his plans to get back together with Kourtney one day. Ever think about that, Lord Disick?
Earlier this year, the 35-year-old confessed during an episode of KUWTK that he and Kourt had previously discussed rekindling their romance when they got older. “We always said we’d try to get back together when we’re 40,” Scott told Khloé Kardashian.
Well, y’all, Scott’s former flame turns 40 in April! No wonder why Sofia is freaking TF out. To be fair, it does seem as though Scott has been making more of an effort to include his lady lately. Most recently, Sofia seemingly spent the night with her man and his little girl, Penelope. Hanging with the kids is a pretty big step, no?
Beyond that, Kourtney has also started to accept Sofia’s role in her children’s lives, albeit on her own terms. “Scott and Sofia tend to get into arguments. Kourtney wants to make sure the kids are in a positive environment when they are at Scott’s house. She is setting up rules for how things need to be when the kids are with Scott,” a source previously revealed to People after the trio was spotted dining together.
With Kourtney on board and Scott going out of his way to include her, maybe this whole “third wheel” thing is all in Sofia’s head. Channel your inner Frozen and let it go, girl!
