Sofia Richie Goes on a Birthday Trip Post-Scott Disick Split: See Photos!

Cheers to the birthday girl! Sofia Richie celebrated her 22nd trip around the sun with a tropical getaway. The up-and-coming actress shared tons of fun photos and videos on Sunday, August 23, of her group’s private plane ride before landing in a picturesque location.

Based on Sofia’s Instagram posts, it looks like her mom, Diane Alexander, her brother, Miles Richie, and her best friends — including Anastasia Karanikolaou, Victoria Villarroel and Amber Asaly — tagged along for the special occasion.

Sadly, the model’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Scott Disick, didn’t make an appearance. “Scott and Sofia are spending time apart,” a source told Us Weekly on August 19. “She is making it a point to do her own thing.” News of the pair’s split comes less than two months after Sofia and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 37, reunited following their first breakup in May.

On the 4th of July, Scott and Sofia were spotted grabbing lunch at Nobu Malibu before attending a party on the beach. “They’re giving love another shot,” an insider previously revealed to Life & Style. “They’re keeping it on the down-low and are still figuring things out before making it official.”

In late April, the Talentless founder briefly entered a Colorado rehab facility before returning to Los Angeles less than a week later. Scott is “working on himself,” the source added at the time. “They don’t want to jump into a full-blown relationship or anything like that. They’re taking baby steps and are spending time together and seeing where it goes.”

As it stands, it doesn’t appear as though the former flames will be getting back together anytime soon … if ever. Question is, will Scott and Sofia calling it quits for good affect her longtime friendship with Kylie Jenner?

Well, on August 14, the makeup mogul gushed over Sofia’s sexy Instagram photo. However, it’s definitely odd that Kylie didn’t attend Sofia’s birthday trip. After all, the two were practically inseparable at her 21st birthday bash in Las Vegas last year. Here’s hoping their relationship is A-OK!
