Scott Disick Reportedly Ruined Sofia Richie’s Modeling Career
In case you somehow missed it, Sofia Richie is totally loved up with her party boy boyfriend Scott Disick, but their relationship has come with a price. According to a new report, Scott is responsible for tanking the 19-year-old’s modeling career.
“Being his girlfriend has stopped her from getting any good jobs,” an insider told Radar Online. “Sofia was a hot model that people wanted to hire, like Gigi or Bella Hadid, before she met Scott…Now she’s not doing any of that.”
Not only was Sofia strutting her stuff on the runway less than two years ago, but she was also called for some of the hottest fashion shoots in the business — working with the likes of Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors. She even made a statement when she walked in Kanye West‘s Yeezy show in 2016.
And the fashion industry isn’t the only place she has seemingly disappeared from. Radar dubbed her “music royalty” before her hook-up with the father-of-three, as her own dad Lionel Richie is obviously incredibly influential in the community. So it’s safe to say Sofia had a lot going for her. “[She] was a rising star, now she is just Scott’s girlfriend,” the source said.
The pair are rarely seen without each other nowadays as they are constantly traveling and going on vacation together. Not to mention, she’s even started to get to know his children, too. Sofia has been spotted on lunch dates with Scott and his two older kids, Mason 9, and Penelope, 5, and she also vacationed with the trio in Mexico — which didn’t go over too well with Scott’s baby mama Kourtney Kardashian.
Regardless of Sofia’s plunging career status, it doesn’t seem like she cares all that much. Between sharing romantic photos of their time together and calling Scott her “babe,” Sofia might actually be in this relationship for the long haul.
