Stassi Schroeder Says Everyone ‘Vowed’ Never to Talk About Kristen Doute’s Boyfriend Carter Again
It’s trouble in friendship paradise for Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute — and it’s all because of Kristen’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Carter. The Vanderpump Rules star, 31, vented to her fiancé, Beau Clark, about the rough relationship Kristen, 36, has been dealing with for some time now on the January 14 episode. Plus, she even revealed that their group of friends have “vowed” to stop harping on the problematic connection.
It all started when Stassi dished to Beau, 39, about some recent drama at a party thrown by costars Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz. “Lala and Brittany, they were telling me about this weekend,” Stassi dished to Beau early on in the episode. “Because you know I went to Kristen’s house and it was the most miserable I’ve ever seen her. And then, turns out, she brings Carter to Katie and Tom’s party.”
“The annoying thing about Kristen and Carter is that all of our friends get wrapped up in their dysfunctional bulls—t,” the blonde beauty explained further during her confessional. “We have vowed never to talk about Kristen and Carter again. And we have all failed.”
It makes sense that it would be hard to keep mum when the drama is at an all-time high in your friend’s relationship. “I just don’t want to be told I’m a bad friend for not checking in on her,” Stassi continued to tell her casting director partner. “There’s nothing to check in on; You’re hanging out with your boyfriend every f—king day.”
Even the funny guy had words about the flawed couple. “If I hear Kristen venting to you again, I’m gonna just say, ‘Maybe shut up. I don’t give a s—t about your relationship anymore,'” he told his soon-to-be wife.
Believe it or not, the contention between Stassi and Kristen regarding her boyfriend has been brewing for quite some time now. In fact, back in March 2019, the Next Level Basic author and Katie, 32, had a blowout fight with Carter, in which he alleged that Kristen’s BFFs were mostly to blame for his rocky relationship with her.
“The only difference between me and Kristen is she’s older than me and she should know better,” Stassi said in her confessional at the time. “I’m so freaking lucky to have found a guy like Beau who has been taught and trained his whole life to deal with psychos like me.”
