Tarek El Moussa Claps Back At Fan Who Said GF Heather Rae Young ‘Thought’ He Would Propose
Setting the record straight! Tarek El Moussa shared a Christmas photo with his girlfriend, Heather Rae Young, on Instagram on Thursday, December 26, which led a fan to believe the Flip or Flop star would pop the question over the holiday. However, that wasn’t the case and Tarek made sure to let his follower know there’s nothing wrong with that.
It all started when the 38-year-old posted a pic alongside his girlfriend, 32, and shared what they did on Christmas. “Well folks, Christmas is officially over, and I’m ready for the New Year!” he began his caption. “Today was a lazy day … I needed it! No filming, no traveling, no working … Just cleaning the house! I did make it to the gym though … I’ve been a bad boy the last 2 weeks 😬😬😬 X-mas belly! How was your Christmas aftermath? What did you do today!? Any fun New Year’s Eve plans?”
The fan then wrote, “Omg I think Heather thought you would propose! [sic] Sad.” Tarek simply replied, “There is nothing sad about this. Ty.”
Tarek and Heather took their relationship public in August, and while they seem head over heels for each other, they’re simply going with the flow when it comes to marriage.
“We’ve definitely talked about [a proposal], but we’re just kinda rolling with things right now,” the father of two told Us Weekly. “We’re living life and we’re going to Europe together in a few weeks. We’re gonna go to Amsterdam for four days and then Paris for four days.”
Heather doesn’t seem to care about when it happens, but during an IG Q&A in September, she revealed she “100 percent” does want to get hitched someday. Looks like it’s just a matter of time!
For now, though, they’re just enjoying their relationship and spending time with each other as well as their loved ones — and that includes Tarek’s children, Taylor and Brayden. Thankfully, Heather gets along with them great — especially with his daughter. “It’s very new and I love it,” she exclusively divulged to Life & Style in September. “His daughter and me bonded very quickly.”
Things couldn’t be going better for the couple!
