It’s a Love Story! Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn Show Rare PDA at Golden Globes Afterparty: Photos
We need to calm down! Taylor Swift and her longtime boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, were spotted getting super cozy at a Golden Globes afterparty on Sunday, January 5.
Though the precious pair chose not to walk the red carpet together, Taylor and Joe showed some rare PDA at CAA’s post-awards show bash in L.A. In the sweet photos, the “London Boy” singer, 30, is holding her A-list beau’s face and smiling. (Excuse us while we swoon.)
“They were acting like loved-up teenagers, but in a respectful way,” an onlooker exclusively told Life & Style of the couple. “I saw Taylor put her hand on Joe’s lap and look lovingly into his eyes and he had his arm around her at one point. It’s obvious he adores her.”
Clearly, the feeling is mutual. “You can tell Taylor doesn’t feel the need to put on an act when she’s with Joe,” the insider added. “She’s incredibly relaxed around him.”
On top of being comfortable with Joe, Taylor is also thankful for the actor’s unwavering support.“This industry is really weird, [those] who do what we do feel like — I am sure some of you feel like this too with your lives,” the pop star expressed during her acceptance speech at the 2019 American Music Awards.
“You feel like your stock is either up or down, they either like you or don’t. But people that hang in there for you are the ones you will never forget,” Taylor continued. “This year for me has been a lot, a lot of good, a lot of really complicated … and so on behalf of my family and me, thank you so much for being there and for caring.”
With plenty more awards shows coming up this season, we hope to see more photos of Taylor and Joe looking smitten! Who knows? Maybe they’ll even finally pose together.
