Taylor Swift and BF Joe Alwyn Acted ‘Like Loved-Up Teenagers’ at the Golden Globes: ‘He Adores Her’
While Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn didn’t walk the red carpet together at the 2020 Golden Globes on January 5, they did pack on the PDA once they were inside. “They were acting like loved up teenagers, but in a respectful way,” a source exclusively told Life & Style.
The source continued, “I saw Taylor put her hand on Joe’s lap and look lovingly into his eyes and he had his arm around her at one point. It’s obvious he adores her.” In addition, the lovely couple was seen holding hands at a Golden Globes afterparty.
Taylor and Joe have been dating since around 2016, and though she keeps her relationship with him on the DL, it’s evident she’s very comfortable with him. “You can tell Taylor doesn’t feel the need to put on an act when she’s with Joe,” the insider added. “She’s incredibly relaxed around him.”
Though neither of them has ever confirmed when they got together, the “Blank Space” crooner seemingly spilled some deets regarding her relationship in her ballad “Lover,” when she sang that she’s “loved you three summers now, honey, but I want ’em all.”
Taylor also got candid about what it was like being in a relationship during her Reputation era vs. Lover. “The moments of my true story on that album are songs like ‘Delicate,’ ‘New Year’s Day,’ ‘Call It What You Want,’ ‘Dress,'” she told Rolling Stone about her 2017 album. “The one-two punch, bait-and-switch of Reputation is that it was actually a love story. It was a love story in amongst chaos.”
Clearly, The Favourite actor has inspired a number of songs, and it turns out he’s fine with his lady pouring her heart out like that. “It’s flattering,” he divulged to The Sunday Times about Taylor writing songs about him. Based on how great their relationship seems to be going, it looks like we’re going to get a few more songs about him!
