The reality starlet is feeling amazing in her own skin as she prepares for a bikini competition happening in just two weeks. “OK body of mine. How much change can you [make] in the next 14 days,” the 24-year-old challenged herself on Instagram while flexing her impressive body. “I’m all for being healthy and strong but I still want to look like a woman though,” someone commented on the series of photos the starlet posted on June 18. Mackenzie snapped back, “Good thing I still look like a woman then huh,” with a bunch of eye-rolling emojis.

The reality starlet’s mom, Angie Douthit, is currently battling stage 4 brain and lung cancer. She’s been sick for over a year and Mackenzie recently shared an update on June 8.

“Laying on her back, horrible pneumonia on top of stage 4 lung cancer spreading through her body and unable to [breathe] without her oxygen mask,” the blonde beauty wrote on Instagram.

“Brad and I received the results from my scans. It’s not what we had hoped for. I wish I could say that I’m in remission, or that the cancer has vanished. But instead, this is what we were told. Basically, the cancer has gone wild,” Angie wrote to fans.

Her grim post continued, “I have new tumors in my brain and the old ones are growing. The tumors in both my lungs are progressing and growing again. I have three tumors in my liver. It’s in my lymph nodes. And, low and behold, it’s in my bones, my breast bone and both of my femurs.”

Feeling Blindsided
“Yes, we were shocked too,” Angie admitted. “I knew things were strange because I have to take headache medicine, Excedrin and Aleve, twice a day to stop the headaches and body pain I’ve been having. But I wouldn’t have ever guessed this. Apparently, immunotherapy was not for me.”

Keep Hope Alive
She added, “We aren’t sure what my next medical step will be. I think a biopsy of my liver, then possibly more radiation, and more chemo. I’ll do whatever God leads me to do.”

“I appreciate all of your incredible prayers,” Angie said to thank fans. “Please continue to be kind and forgiving. Please do not get mad at God. This is all part of his plan. He can heal if he wants to. But, we must praise him no matter what. God is not through with me yet!”
