Prepare for More Tears on ‘This Is Us’ — We Could See Randall Die in Future Seasons!

As fans saw, This Is Us' Feb. 4 post–Super Bowl episode ended with a major surprise: a glimpse into the future! And we got a peek at a few more spoilers to come from show insiders.

We watched Randall (played by Sterling K. Brown), now an older man, pay a visit to his daughter Tess (played by Iantha Richardson), who appears to be a grown woman with a job as a social worker. Flash-forwards are something that series creator Dan Fogelman says will be happening a lot more in seasons to come. “We’re going to explore new time lines [and] open up some brave new worlds,” he explains. “That was always part of the plan from day one.”
