Which Celebrities Broke Up in 2025? LiB’s Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton Plus More Splits and Divorces
2025 wasn’t a very good year when it came to celebrity relationships, with a number of stars deciding to split or divorce.
Reports surfaced in January that Jessica Alba and her husband of 16 years, Cash Warren, split and were heading for a divorce. Jessica Simpson confirmed that she and husband Eric Johnson had separated the following week.
Holly Madison confirmed her split from Ghost Adventures’ Zak Bagans on March 24. The month concluded with Sydney Sweeney reportedly splitting from Jonathan Davino.
On April 7, Us Weekly confirmed Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko broke up for the second time. Days later, it was revealed that Rami Malek and Emma Corrin split after two years of dating. On April 25, Us Weekly reported that Tayshia Adams and Luke Gulbranson split after two years together.
In May, Love Is Blind’s Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton announced their separation after almost four years of marriage.

Love Is Blind season 3 couple Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton announced they were separating after nearly four years together on May 23. The former couple revealed the news in a joint statement on Instagram.
“We wanted to share something personal, and this is not easy to do, but after nearly four years together, we’ve decided to end our marriage and move forward on our own paths,” Colleen and Matt wrote. “We’ve been separated for some time now and have been doing our best to work through everything privately and with care.”
“This was an incredibly difficult decision, not one we made lightly. It came with a lot of thought and it’s been an emotional process for both of us,” they continued. “We met in the most unique and unexpected way, and we’ll always be grateful for the love and memories we’ve shared. There’s not one thing we would change and we continue to have deep respect and care for one another.”
Colleen and Matt ended their message by thanking those who had offered support, asking “for compassion as we navigate this transition.”

Former Bachelorette Tayshia Adams and fellow reality star Luke Gulbranson called it quits after two years of dating, Us Weekly reported on April 25.
The duo had stopped following each other on Instagram and wiped their respective pages of photos of one another.
Tayshia began dating the Summer House alum in April 2023. She got engaged to Zac Clark in The Bachelorette season 16 finale, but the duo announced their split after one year together in December 2021.

After more than two decades together, Access Hollywood coanchor Kit Hoover ended her marriage to Crowley Sullivan, according to multiple reports on April 5. Court documents viewed by Us Weekly revealed that Kit cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
The pair, who had been married for 25 years, quietly went their separate ways months earlier. Back in December 2024, Us Weekly confirmed their separation, with a source revealing, “She’s been telling people she is single and getting divorced.”

Sydney Sweeney and fiancé Jonathan Davino called it quits, according to multiple reports that circulated in late March. “Sydney and Jonathan are officially split,” a source Us Weekly on March 31. The insider added that she was “telling friends she is single.”
The Euphoria actress sparked dating rumors with Jonathan in 2018, and they got engaged in 2022.

Girls Next Door alum Holly Madison revealed that she had split from Ghost Adventures host Zak Bagans after six years of on-off dating during the March 24 episode of her and Bridget Marquardt’s “Girls Next Level” podcast.
“Zak and I broke up for good, for good. I know we’ve been very off and on, you guys are probably like, ‘You guys broke up last spring, right?’” the former Playboy Bunny said, explaining that she and the reality star cut ties in February 2025. “It was off and on over the course of the like five-and-a-half years. We were together but very off and on over the past year — very, very much. So we broke up, and I mean unfollowed on social media, which we’ve never unfollowed each other before through all the breakups.”

The Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their split. According to the filing, the duo separated on December 7, 2024. The former couple married on October 12, 2024.
“I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision. Ultimately, it didn’t work out,” Emily told Good Morning America in a statement about her divorce filing.

A rep for the couple denied a divorce is looming, telling The Hollywood Reporter, “Ye and Bianca are in Los Angeles, about to enjoy Valentine’s Day together. Announcements about their private life will come from them directly, not unsourced rumor in the tabloid press. Is this the fifth or is it the sixth time the press has wrongly reported that Ye and Bianca are separating? I’ve lost track.”

Mamie cited “irreconcilable differences” and listed their official separation date as May 6, 2023. The Good Wife alum requested spousal support, as well as joint physical and legal custody of their two children, Peter and Mary.

Shemar Moore and girlfriend Jesiree Dizon went their separate ways after five years of dating. During their relationship, the former couple welcomed their daughter, Frankie Melelina Kapule Moore.
Shemar confirmed the news one day after TMZ’s January 30 report and asked his fans for privacy.

Weeks later, Life & Style confirmed Jessica filed for divorce on February 7, with the assistance of celebrity attorney Laura Wasser. The film producer filed his paperwork directly afterward. The exes did not have a prenup in place. TMZ was the first to report.
Jessica and Cash had stopped wearing their wedding rings by late 2024, and the L.A.’s Finest star hinted at trouble in her marriage during an April 2024 appearance on Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt’s “BDA Baby” podcast.
“It’s all rosy for 2 ½ years, but then after that, you become roommates,” Jessica laughed. “And it’s just, like, you’re roommates. You’re just going through the motions. It’s the responsibility. It’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes.”
“We’re on 17 years. He basically stole my 20s and my 30s,” she added. “So, we have the friendship and the comfort of, like, ‘You’re not going anywhere,’ and so, sometimes, you don’t treat those people the best.
