New year, new man! If relationships aren’t posted on social media, do they even exist at all? Bethenny Frankel made things officially official on Instagram with Boston native Paul Bernon on Dec. 25. The Real Housewives of New York City vet shared gorgeous photos of the couple’s stay in the Dominican Republic and the pair looked very happy together.

“Bye bye Dominican Republic,” Bethenny said on Instagram. “What a beautiful country of beautiful people.” The reality star also added “#healingretreat” and “#feliznavidad” to her short, yet sweet, caption.

The first photo showed Bethenny and Paul relaxing on a patio overlooking the ocean. The two are both smiling and looked very comfortable together. The second snap is a quick selfie of Paul and Bethenny looking vacation ready with their sunglasses on. Judging by the cute photos the reality star posted, it seems like the two had a great time.

It’s not exactly clear what Bethenny meant by “healing retreat,” but after a near-death allergic reaction, she was probably glad to unwind a bit. Bethenny even credited Paul with saving her life. While telling the story on Twitter, one person tweeted, “Don’t forget you have a new boyfriend too.” The reality star made it very clear that she is grateful to her boyfriend. “He saved my life,” she admitted.

After tweeting about the scary situation, Bethenny got very candid about hitting an emotional wall.

The star tweeted, “Not since all the relief work, Dennis’ passing & filming a season have I hit the wall. Today was that day. Still cannot move from bed.” After her ex-boyfriend Dennis Shields’ passing over the summer and her terrifying stay in the hospital after the allergy attack, Bethenny was more than ready for a fun trip with her new beau.

Hopefully, Bethenny has rested up and is feeling recharged after her exotic vacation.
