Is Saweetie Dating YG?
The “Best Friend” rapper was photographed looking cozy next to YG while cooling off from the Cabo sun in a pool. In one snapshot, Saweetie was wrapped inside the “Big Bank” artist’s arms while he passionately kissed her cheek.
The pair have not publicly commented on the relationship speculation.
Reps for Saweetie and YG did not immediately respond to Life & Style‘s request for comment.
When Did Saweetie and Quavo Split?
Saweetie confirmed in March 2021 that she and the Migos frontman had called it quits after three years together. The Bay Area naive dished about their tumultuous split via Twitter while revealing to fans that she was “single.”
“I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind-the-scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character,” Saweetie tweeted at the time. “Presents don’t band-aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”
The “Sway With Me” artist noted that she was “excited” and ready for a “new chapter of elevation” following their breakup, adding, “I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom.”
Why Did Saweetie and Quavo Split?
Saweetie continued to hint that their split was less than amicable. During an appearance on Justin LaBoy and Justin Combs’ Respectfully Justin in March 2021, the “Back to the Streets” artist said she “doesn’t like liars” and “lying” is the “last straw” for her in a relationship.
When asked what’s the “most disrespectful thing” a man has done to her, Saweetie simply responded, “He [breaks] your heart.” Her and Quavo’s uncoupling came months after the Georgia native was accused of cheating on Saweetie in November 2020 with Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter.
At the time, Quavo denied the accusations via Twitter, writing, “Internet crazy man. Not Weezy’s daughter, no!”
Who Has Saweetie Dated After Her Split From Quavo?
The “Icy Chain” artist teased that she has a possible new boyfriend in February 2022 after she shared a photo of herself via Instagram cuddling up to a mystery man holding his face. The snapshot was closely zoomed in, making the identity of the lucky gent nearly impossible to see. Saweetie simply used a hush emoji as the caption.
Before that, she has been romantically linked to NBA player James Harden, Snowfall star Damson Idris and rapper Saucy Santana.
Rumors began circulating about James in June 2021 after a cousin of Migos rapper Offset reportedly liked a tweet that read, “Now, why TF are people saying Saweetie and James Harden [f—king with] each other.” However, neither spoke about the speculation.
In November 2021, Damson shared a cozy video with Saweetie giving him piano lessons. “My teacher,” he captioned the sweet moment. The “Icy Grl” artist reposted the same clip, fueling speculation.
Damson has since started dating girlfriend Lori Harvey.
