Bachelor Nation alum Sydney Lotuaco first appeared as a contestant on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor, which aired in 2019. She eventually made her way to Bachelor in Paradise later that year, appeared as a dancer during Bachelor Live On Stage and even made a special guest appearance on Tayshia Adams’ season of The Bachelorette.

She’s managed to stay out of the drama, and the Virginia native knows what she’s looking for. Learn more about Sydney below!

She’s a professional dancer.

Prior to reality fame, the Bachelor Nation babe made her living as an NBA dancer. She told Colton when she got out of the limo that she quit her job with the New York City Knicks’ dance team, the Knicks City Dancers, so that she could go on the show. But she also knows more classical styles. On night one, she showed him a few moves as a classical string quartet played them out. According to her LinkedIn, she’s also worked as a barre fitness instructor, teaching dance exercises classes, and got her BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College.

She’s had one boyfriend.

She was looking for her lifelong dance partner on The Bachelor, but it came as a surprise to fans that she had never dated anyone seriously before. At the time, she explained that she finally felt confident in her career success and she was ready for love, which is why she decided to risk her job to go on The Bachelor.

Things didn’t work out with the former football player, but Sydney found her guy. She went Instagram official with a gorgeous guy named Nick Wehby in June, and they are still going strong.

“He watched The Bachelor because his mom got him to start watching and then eventually Paradise because he knew I’d be on it,” the reality star told Us Weekly at the time and noted they met over Instagram. “[I] don’t know how I piqued his interest, but I’m very happy I did!”

The pair spoke virtually for three months before meeting in person. “I flew to Ohio to meet him, and he drove me back to Virginia so I wouldn’t have to come from a plane straight to my parents’ house, where I’ve been quarantining,” she explained about traveling amid the coronavirus pandemic. “It was a little scary seeing if we’d have the same connection in real life, but luckily, it was even better in person!”

She still has a cool job.

These days, Sydney is still dancing, but she also works as an influencer and is the host of “Black Beans and Rice” podcast with fellow Paradise alum Nicole Lopez-Alvar. Now that she’s found love, she went to help her pal Tayshia look for Mr. Right during the November 24 episode of The Bachelorette with Becca Kufrin.

Keep slaying, Sydney!
