One grandmother, a fake pregnancy and countless animal costumes have stepped out of the limo during night one of The Bachelor and Bachelorette. Contestants go to great lengths to get noticed and sometimes it totally works. Other times, it may have Chris Harrison shaking his head. Keep scrolling to see some of the most memorable entrances in Bachelor Nation history!
Lexi rode up to meet Peter in style in this vintage Corvette. Vroom, vroom!

Get It?
In case we weren’t going to get enough windmill jokes during Peter’s season, Deandra came literally dressed as one.

Card-bored?
Fans loved the energy Joe (a.k.a. the Box King) brought to night one. Naturally, he erupted out of a big cardboard box to greet Hannah Brown on season 15 of The Bachelorette. Sadly, she wasn’t feeling it and he didn’t make it through to week 2. Sadder yet, Chris Harrison was stuck sweeping up the mess.

Rolling Through
Before Matt Donald charmed the ladies on Bachelor in Paradise, he was a one-hit-wonder on Hannah’s season. He drove up on a tractor and sang “Old ~Matt~ Donald” while wearing a farmer’s hat but was eliminated on the first night. Obviously, the Alabama beauty still got to enjoy the tractor.
Chris Strandburg is a dentist but you wouldn’t know that because he’s only remembered as a cupcake. He competed for Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s heart but was sent home during week 7 where he proceeded to have a full meltdown on the side of a cliff in Ireland. We’re not going to lie, it wasn’t great, but he actually seems like a pretty nice guy.

He Sees You When You’re Sleeping
Nick Benvenutti made quite a first impression on JoJo Fletcher when he showed up dressed as Santa (a.k.a. St. Nick). He even brought a duffle bag with a present for her.

Slow and Steady Wins the Race?
Colton Underwood was in for a surprise when Alex Dillon stepped out of the limo in a sloth costume. She really committed to her character and did everything impressively slow including walking, talking and responding to general questions. The lovable sloth was sent home week 1.

*Insert Joke About Humping Here*
Lacey Markarrived on Nick Viall‘s season via camel. The joke that she went to all this trouble for? “I heard you like a good hump and so do I.” OK, not bad.

Dolphin Shark Forever
Alexis Waters will go down in history as the most successful animal costume in the franchise. Nick and all of Bachelor Nation found it endearing how much she loved dolphins despite the fact that she was wearing a shark costume.

Skipping Ahead to the Good Part
You can only catch a glimpse of her green dress in the photo but Jasmine Goode brought jeweler Neil Lane to meet Nick on night one. You have to love a girl who knows what she wants.
Before Jillian Harris was the Bachelorette, she stepped out of the limo and fed Jason Mesnick this, uhm, meal. This is where the phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words” really comes in handy.

Meet Grandma Sheryl
Ben Flajnik was a nice guy and proved it even further when he met contestant Brittney Schreiner‘s grandmother. Aw!

She Took a Tumble
Robyn Howard entered Sean Lowe‘s season looking impressive AF. Sadly, in the middle of her backflips, she completely wiped out. Don’t feel too bad, the contestant still made it until week 5.

We’re Truly Terrified
Reegan Cornwell was a cadaver tissue saleswoman and wanted to show Chris Soules what a day in her job was like. She brought a literal human heart in a cooler and presented it to the farmer. The blonde was also sent home night one. Not saying there was a correlation but …

He Was Probably Chilly
Whoopsy, Zak Waddell forgot his shirt when he stepped out of the limo to meet Desiree Hartsock. Hate when that happens!

Justice for Adam Jr.
Adam Gottschalk is a great guy (just ask his girlfriend Raven Gates). However, he brought a doll of himself (his possible child? A voodoo doll he found?) to meet Rachel Lindsay, and it came off very strange. Most fans are convinced that viewers didn’t understand the joke because he wasn’t given enough camera time to explain it.

Nice Tux
Matthew Munson waddled into Rachel’s heart when he arrived in a penguin costume. Why? Because she loves penguins, duh!

Knight in Shining … Wait Is That a Unicorn?!
Luke Pell turned this horse into a mystical animal to win over JoJo. It clearly worked because he made it very far in the season and remains a Bachelor Nation favorite.
Emily and Haley Ferguson are professional twins and had Ben Higgins seeing double. The ladies are so memorable because of how similar they look. Like, wow.

There’s Our Girl
Long before JoJo met her fiancé Jordan Rodgers, she stepped out of the limo wearing a unicorn head for Ben. We hope Luke’s entrance listed above is making a lot more sense now.
It wasn’t surprising that Catherine Agro brought her dog to meet Colton since he’s such an animal lover. What made this so unforgettable was that she literally dumped her pet on him to take care of until she was sent home during week 3. That’s one way to get free dog sitting.

Playing Princess
Erin Landry wanted to send the message loud and clear that she was ready for her fairytale ending with Colton. Unfortunately, her chapter closed during week 1.
