Andrew Garfield ‘Convinced’ He Let Ex Emma Stone ‘Slip Through His Fingers’: He’s ‘Moping’ Over Her
Andrew Garfield is “haunted by guilt and regret” over the 2015 end of his four-year relationship with Emma Stone — especially after the end of his recent romance with Kate Thomas.
“He’s convinced he let the love of his life slip through his fingers,” a source exclusively tells Life & Style. “But Emma is married now to Dave McCary and has a daughter, so Andrew is stuck with his memories.”
Yet both have previously stated their enduring feelings for each other. In 2015, Emma, 35, called her ex “someone I still love very much,” while the 41-year-old returned the sentiment in 2017, gushing, “There’s so much love between us.”
Hence the problem. Says the source, “Friends say Andrew will never find the right girl if he keeps moping about the past!”
