Zendaya Arrives Solo Amid Tom Holland Engagement at the 2025 Met Gala: See Red Carpet Photos
Zendaya looked stunning on the 2025 Met Gala red carpet, wowing in a dazzling look while arriving without with fiancé Tom Holland.
The Euphoria actress, 28, slayed in an outfit consisting of of an all-white suit that featured pointed shoulders, flared pants and an oversized hat. Meanwhile, Zendaya accessorized the look with Bulgari jewelry.
While Tom, 28, wasn’t on hand for Zendaya’s Met Gala moment on Monday, May 5, her stylist, Law Roach, made sure every angle of her ensemble looked impeccable.
Zendaya fully embraced the 2025 Met Gala theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” with guests encouraged to interpret the menswear theme of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute’s exhibit focusing on the style history of Black dandyism.
The dress code asked invitees to embrace “looks reflective of one’s personal style,” Vogue reported in February. Suggested items included suits, along with such accessories as “hats, ties, canes, brooches and pocket squares.”
The Challengers star has always tried to stay on point with the event’s theme.
In 2024, Zendaya made the most of “The Garden of Time” theme with two different looks. She first donned a blue and green one-shouldered Maison Margiela Artisanal gown by John Galliano with fruit-like accents when arriving at the gala.
Later, Zendaya returned to the bottom of the iconic stairs in a 1996 archival Galliano gown from the designer’s time as the creative director at Givenchy. It featured a black corset top, long sleeves and full skirt with a dramatic train. The Emmy winner donned a large fascinator with voluminous colorful roses to keep with the garden theme.
Fans were eagerly anticipating if Zendaya would bring Tom along as her date to the gala, which would mark their first red carpet event as an engaged couple.
The Uncharted actor was photographed visiting his fiancée on the set of Euphoria in Los Angeles on April 25, amid season 3’s filming. Tom even brought along Zendaya’s black miniature schnauzer Noon in one of the first sightings of the couple since the England native popped the question over the holidays in 2024.

ment speculation when Zendaya wore a massive diamond ring on her left hand to the Golden Globes on January 5.
The following day, a family source confirmed to People that the couple was engaged after four years of dating.
Tom’s dad, author and comedian Dominic Holland, described his son’s proposal process in a Patreon post on January 10.
“Tom, as you know by now, was very incredibly well prepared. He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter,” Dominic. 57, explained. “Tom had everything planned out … When, where, how, what to say, what to wear.”
“And even though show business is a messy place for relationships and particularly so for famous couples as they crash and burn in public and are too numerous to mention … I am completely confident they will make a successful union,” the proud father added about Tom and Zendaya.
Life & Style exclusively reported on how the couple was actively house hunting amid their busy schedules.
“They already live together in London, but they’re looking to buy a bigger place together next, and they also want to get a place together in L.A. so that they can have homes near his family and hers,” the source explained on January 27 of the duo’s post-wedding living plans.
“There are a lot of moving parts with planning, because they have so much work coming up but at this point, they do have a break at that time and they’re going to go for it, they can’t wait to be married,” the insider added. “They’re both so happy and in love and they are truly best friends, it’s just such a healthy and positive relationship in every way, this is a no brainer.”
