Gerard Butler is definitely lucky when it comes to love! Life & Style can exclusively reveal that the actor has found a new lady interest in Sarah Carroll, most famously known from her Virgin Mobile ads, in which she and her co-star, Spencer Falls, depict a celebrity couple named Sparah.
"Gerard and Sarah met at the premiere for his movie Machine Gun Preacher at the Chateau Marmont in LA on Sept. 21," a source close to Gerard tells Life & Style. "She spoke to him and he charmed her. It was love at first sight! They had a hot hookup after the afterparty."
Coincidentally enough, the Sparah ad campaign revolves around Sarah wanting to become a celebrity. And now she is one -- with an A-list romance to boot!
Though she's being coy about the details, she's not keeping the budding romance a secret. "Um. Gerard Butler just hugged me," Sarah tweeted on Sept. 22. "Called me a good friend. AND invited me to the Chateau. Die twice." Later that day, Sarah spoke about the experience on Sparah.com. "I met Gerard Butler, he's super nice!" she says on the video blog.
The news of this pairing comes just one month after Life & Style exclusively reported Gerard's steamy Malibu hookup with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville. The two have since fizzled out.
A rep for Gerard had no comment.
