She's still in great spirits! Former Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller is still in the hospital but she isn't letting her current cancer battle stop her from celebrating Mother's Day. Abby took to Instagram on Sunday, May 13 to share a sweet and funny message to all the moms out there, and she even jazzed up her message with a cute cat filter. Watch the video above to see Abby's Mother's Day message.

Even though she does not have any children of her own, Abby still is a mother figure to her dance students and many of them have stopped by while Abby has been in the hospital to visit her. Abby has been in the hospital for nearly a month after she was experiencing some scary symptoms. Shortly after she was released from prison, Abby started feeling "excruciating neck pain" and she was temporarily parylyzed from the neck down and doctors originally thought that it was caused by an unusual spinal infection.

Abby underwent emergency surgery on April 17, and even though she had made some progress in her recovery, she got dealt another blow after her doctor Dr. Hooman M. Melamed finally figured out what had caused her symptoms. She was quickly diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma, which is a form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. It's a type of cancer that starts in the B cells, also known as the immune cells, and it is also the fast-growing human tumor, according to WebMD.

But thankfully, Abby has been in treatment in a hospital in California since her diagnosis. Dr. Melamed told People that Abby would probably have to undergo chemotherapy, radiation, and possibly another surgical procedure on her spine. Since she's been diagnosed, Abby has been sharing updates with her fans on social media, and even though she's battling cancer, she's still making sure to pamper herself by getting a manicure. "Only in LA you [sic] can get your nails fixed in the hospital," she wrote on Instagram.
