At it again! Bachelor contestant Alayah Benavidez — former Miss Texas 2019 — is bringing the beauty queen drama back on Peter Weber‘s season. After watching Hannah Brown and Caelynn Miller-Keyes duke it out for Colton Underwood, we didn’t think Bachelor Nation could handle much more. However, it’s promising to be a storyline we won’t be able to take our eyes off of. Caution: Spoilers for Peter’s season are below. Do not keep reading if you don’t want to know what happens!

Apparently, the 24-year-old butt heads with fellow contestant Victoria Paul. Alayah has a history with the blonde beauty, who was the former Miss Louisiana 2019. They competed together at Miss USA, where Victoria ranked in the top 15 and Alayah did not. Needless to say, it’s highly likely that the two knew each other going into the reality show.

Although Alayah gets sent home by the third rose ceremony, her tension with Victoria P. doesn’t dissolve. As a result, she ends up crashing a rose ceremony in Ohio to tell Peter that the Louisiana native “lied” to him. However, her plea isn’t enough and she’s sent home once again.

The Texas native has been teased to be the eye of the drama hurricane since the beginning. “It’s been a while since we’ve had a pageant girl … that was last season,” show host Chris Harrison joked while introducing the contestants via social media on December 16. “A year ago, we introduced you to the pageant world with Hannah and Caelynn. There you go. She is definitely part of that world.”

The host continued, “Maybe the wildest rollercoaster ride of the entire season centers around Alayah. Controversy, emotion, something we’ve never had happen before on this show, the history of this show, happens to Alayah. So, definitely somebody to watch.” Um, wow!

Even Reality Steve alluded to the severity of what happens with the beauty queens. “Let me just say this: The pageant world is a messy, messy, messy place. You thought the  was bad, just wait til this season’s s—t storm rolls in,” Reality Steve teased on  on October 8.

Alayah and Victoria P. seem to be the center of the beauty queen scuffle but there are a few other ladies from the pageant realm competing this season. Contestant  has been in the pageant circuit since 2014. She was the  as Miss Tennessee in 2018. In addition, Kelsey Weier was Miss Iowa in 2017, Maurissa Gunn was  and Courtney Perry competed in a slew of pageants for Winghouse in Florida (still counts, in our opinion).

Whew, good luck, Peter!
