Love at First Sight

When Dale stepped out of the limo on night one, it was game over for Clare. She said at the time she felt like she had “just met [her] husband,” and their attraction didn’t end there. 
Life & Style broke the news that Clare wanted to “quit” season 16 because she had already “fallen in love” with the former football player just 12 days into filming. Viewers watched Dale propose to the leading lady, and they are now engaged.

A New Bachelor Makes History

Matt James was originally cast as a contestant on Clare’s season in March, but filming was postponed until July amid the coronavirus pandemic. Surprisingly, in June, Matt was announced as season 25’s Bachelor and skipped The Bachelorette entirely. 
He made history as the first Black leading man, and it was the first time in over a decade the Bachelor was someone who didn’t previously appear in the franchise. 

Peter’s Switch … Twice

Peter Weber got engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss during the finale of season 24. They split shortly after because he still had feelings for runner-up Madison Prewett. He and Madi explored their relationship but announced they went their separate ways for good a few days following After the Final Rose in March.
Needless to say, fans were shocked when the pilot rekindled things with Kelley Flanagan, another contestant from his season, later that month. Luckily, he finally got things right. The pair are still happily dating and “madly in love,” Peter’s mom, Barbara Weber, exclusively told Life & Style in July. 

Everything About Luke Parker and Hannah Brown

Hannah Brown has since said that it was nearly “love at first sight” with contestant Luke Parker, which explained why she ignored so many red flags. While audiences cringed week after week at the contestant’s behavior, the final straw for the Alabama beauty came when he told her before his fantasy suite date that he would “completely remove” himself from their relationship if he found out she was intimate with any of the other contestants.

This was when Hannah coined probably the most famous line from the whole season. “My husband would never say what you’ve said to me,” she snapped back. “I have had sex. And honestly, Jesus still loves me. From obviously how you feel, me f—king in a windmill, you probably wanna leave.” Go, girl!

Jed Wyatt’s Girl Back Home

Hannah was elated with Jed Wyatt got down on one knee. The two were engaged for approximately … 15 seconds. After the finale was filmed, the Nashville musician’s ex Haley Stevens came forward and claimed that they were still dating when he left to be on the reality show and he only went to promote his career. Although Jed claimed that Haley misunderstood their relationship. Since when does going on vacation together, meeting her parents and saying “I love you,” mean you’re dating, right?

Hannah promptly called things off before After the Final Rose was even filmed.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Becca Kufrin Crash and Burn

Arie Luyendyk Jr. found his forever love … but it wasn’t who he proposed to during the finale. After a quickie engagement to Becca Kufrin, he broke up with her to pursue his runner-up, Lauren Burnham. Needless to say, it was hard to watch.

It looks like things all worked out for the best. Becca went on to be the Bachelorette and is engaged to Garrett Yrigoyen. Arie and Lauren got married in January 2019 and welcomed their first child, a daughter named Alessi, in May 2019.

Brad Womack Says Goodbye … to Everyone

You OK? Brad Womack was the leading man on season 11 and got down on one knee for no one. He ended up breaking things off with DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft. He was given another chance on season 15 and got engaged to Emily Maynard. They broke up eight months later.

Jason Mesnick Changes His Mind

Jason Mesnick was the first Bachelor to undergo this awkward moment. He got engaged to Melissa Rycroft during the finale but changed his mind shortly after to be with runner-up Molly Malaney. The two have been together ever since and got married in 2010.

Jenna Cooper’s Forensic Evidence

It was weird yet cute when Jordan Kimball and Jenna Cooper got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise. However, their bliss was short-lived when alleged text messages from the blonde beauty’s supposed real boyfriend were leaked. Not only did it look like Jenna was cheating on the male model but they also claimed that she was faking their whole relationship for publicity. The reality starlet said she got the messages “forensically tested” which was supposed to clear her name and prove the texts were fake. Apparently the “analysis” proved Jenna’s innocence but the world had moved on by then (and didn’t quite believe it). Yikes.

Robby Hayes Allegedly Cheats on Amanda Stanton

Robby Hayes only had eyes for Amanda Stanton on Paradise. However, they quickly fizzled out once they returned to ~real life.~ After he was accused of cheating by Emily and Haley Ferguson on the aftershow, he took to Twitter to tell his side of things.

“I’ll never understand why there’s such a desperate need to present an ‘innocent persona’ and resort to allowing allegations that are blatantly untrue be said about me by ‘the twins’ while one sits back and ‘unknowingly’ watches these malicious attacks continue against me,” he wrote in a lengthy statement.

Shortly after, Amanda tweeted a photo that allegedly showed Robby locking lips with another woman. She rightly captioned the image, “Look what you made me do.”

Nick Viall’s Sex Confession
