‘Bachelorette’ Contestant Luke Parker Admits It’s ‘Hard’ to See Himself On Screen: ‘I’m Continuing to Learn About My Flaws’
Yikes! Bachelorette contestant Luke Parker is apparently just as freaked out by his behavior toward Hannah Brown as the rest of us. The stud took to social media and admitted that it’s been difficult to watch himself back.
“I just want to address the elephant in the room here really quick,” he began a lengthy caption on Instagram on Tuesday, May 29. The 24-year-old also hinted that more drama is to come with him. “First I want you to know how hard it has been for me to watch myself this season so far. Regardless of what is aired AND IF [Hannah] and I are together or not my behavior in all situations has been and will continue to be exposed.”
For those familiar with Bachelor Nation, it definitely seems as though Luke will end up being the “villain” of the season, which is a tough pill to swallow. During the week 3 episode, Hannah pulled Luke aside to let him know that she was “irritated” by his overbearing behavior. Trailers for the upcoming season also show a lot more altercations in the contestant’s future.
However, the Florida native promised that the experience helped him become a better person. His post continued, “I have learned a lot and I am continuing to learn about my flaws as a man. I’m the first to admit I am far from perfect. This journey has given me a great opportunity to grow and mature as a man, and for that I am grateful.”
He ended the heartfelt post by thanking fans who have his back. “For those of you who are on this journey with me I am grateful for your support and hope you get to learn and grow from my mistakes with me!”
