Snatched! Amber Rose flaunted her post-baby body while wearing a waist trainer less than two months after giving birth to her son Slash Electric Alexander Edwards, whom she shares with rapper Alexander “AE” Edwards. The model is determined to get her figure back — and that includes using the controversial undergarment and undergoing “whole body” plastic surgery.
“Can’t wait to start waist training again … Whether you exercise [and] eat healthy and/or have had lipo … waist trainers help give that extra support at the gym and in everyday posture,” the 36-year-old captioned a photo of herself wearing a hot pink shaping garment on December 2.
She’s been extremely open about the medical procedures she’s using to get back in shape, and some fans are here for her honesty. “Hope the surgery went well. Even though you didn’t need it, I appreciate you posting letting women know they should do whatever they want to make them feel good about themselves,” one person commented on her photo. “Amber, this is why I love my fellow Philly girl because you keep it a buck. Other people wouldn’t even admit to lipo and then falsely advertise that they did it by going to the gym. It’s our body and we can get there how we want! Authentic real women always win. Love you so much,” a separate commenter gushed.
However, the SlutWalk founder also received some backlash for the way she’s going about feeling like her old self. “What example are you setting towards the young ladies that admire you? They may not have all the resources to fix their ‘insecurities’ like you do. And may result to them going to someone … cheap. That may prove fatal,” someone wrote. “How is waist training beneficial when you’ve already had everything removed?” a follower added. Another person begged, “Amber I love you but please stop, you’re awesome without all this and you just had a baby!”
On November 27, Amber shared the intensive procedure she was undergoing. “So, I’m here at‘s office and I’m about to get my whole body done after the baby, and if you want to get your body done or you need some work done, he’s going to take out some of my jowls that are just like, hereditary,” the model began in a video on Instagram while wearing a surgical gown. “They just run in my family, so he’s gonna fix that and he’s gonna suck all the baby fat out of my stomach. So, I’m about to go in this morning and I’m super excited.”
We’re sure Amber will document more of her post-baby journey!
