Amy Schumer's Son Gene Wins Halloween With Little Old Man Costume

We have a winner. Amy Schumer‘s sweet son, Gene, totally owned every other celeb kid’s Halloween costume out there when his mama debuted his adorable ‘fit on Instagram on October 31. The 5-month-old was dressed as a little old man — and the proud parent even posed him with a newspaper for the cutest photos in the world.

“We are going to teach him to read the news,” the 38-year-old captioned the series of three perfect pics. The tiny tot was dressed in a plaid shirt and striped cardigan, with mock glasses and a grey wig to top off the look. Plus, his parents outfitted him with a fake mustache/pacifier, which probably came in handy for a day of dress-up.

Needless to say, fans, followers and several of Amy’s celeb friends made sure to flood the comments section on her post to gush over the little boy and his killer costume. “Incredible,” actor Chris Pratt wrote, while Goldie Hawn added, “OMG. Can’t handle this,” with three crying laughing emojis and another three heart emojis.

Halloween has seemingly been on the funny mama’s mind lately because she made a pretty hilarious post about losing weight postpartum and navigating Halloween during that struggle on October 28. “I look alright in my costume?” the actress captioned a photo of a literal tugboat, along with the hashtag “baby weight.”

Pal Amber Rose, who gave birth to her second child on October 10, was the first to chime in with some super encouraging words. “Awww, it’s natural, sis! I still look like I’m six months pregnant,” the 36-year-old said in solidarity with her postpartum pal, adding a heart eyes emoji and a red heart.

This definitely wouldn’t be the first time Amy has used her humor to discuss serious stuff about her pregnancy and postpartum life, including her baby weight. She shouted out Jessica Simpson, who has made incredible weight loss strides after giving birth, to hilariously highlight her own weight loss win.

“OK, Simpson! Well I’ve lost 10 pounds and 100 dollars to my sister playing poker,” she captioned a cute snap of herself and sister Kim Caramele at the beach. Good to know the humor isn’t lost on baby Gene!
