Amy Schumer Pays Homage to Her New Postpartum Fave: ‘Hospital Underwear for Life!’
Seems like a lot of new celeb mamas are singing the praises of one little-known postpartum lifesaver lately: hospital underwear! Amy Schumer is the latest to dish on social media about her love of the helpful garment in a hilarious Instagram post on June 8.
“[Five] weeks,” she captioned a series of two photos. The first featured her walking her new son in a stroller with only her undies and bra on while the second one gave a glimpse of a mommy-son snuggle. “Hospital underwear for life!”
Naturally, some of Amy’s fellow moms came into the comments section with solidarity. “Thanks for being so raw and vulnerable about the realities of [postpartum] life,” model Tess Holliday commented on the post. “There is so much pressure placed on new moms to ‘bounce back’ & it’s not real life.”
“You’re doing amazing & you’re amazing & those hospital undies are COMFYYYYY💕💕💕,” the plus-size star continued.
One of Amy’s comrades in pregnancy struggles, La La Anthony, also cheered on her friend in the comments. “Amy the legend‼️‼️ 🏆🏆🏆😍,” she wrote. La La spoke with Life & Style exclusively about Amy’s rough pregnancy back in December 2018 so it makes sense to see her still rooting for her girl.
“I suffered from severe hyperemesis as well during my pregnancy with my son, Kiyan, who is 11. I’ve just been giving her tips and supporting her,” La La revealed. “I know how rough it is!”
Even Jersey Shore star Snooki commented on the post. “DEAD,” she hilariously wrote, clearly commenting on Amy’s sense of humor for the pic. Considering the MTV babe wrote her own ode to hospital underwear recently, we weren’t exactly surprised to see her chime in on the post.
“New Style Coming Soon @thesnookishop #MomEdition,” the 31-year-old former guidette hilariously captioned a photo of hospital underwear, pads, gauze and other post-birth healing necessities on May 31. She gave birth to her third child, Angelo, with husband Jionni LaValle the day before on May 30.
