Ariana Grande Covers Another Pete Davidson Tattoo With A Touching Tribute To Mac Miller
It looks like Ariana Grande was back in the tattoo chair… again. Her artist must be on speed dial, and for good reason. Since her very public split from SNL comedian Pete Davidson, both of them have been quickly covering up any matching tattoos they got together or tribute tattoos about each other. The next one to go on Ari’s list? The “8481” tat on her foot, according to E! News.
“8481” was the badge number of Pete’s father, Scott Davidson, who was an NYC firefighter who died during the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Ariana replaced it with a tribute of her own to her late ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller. On Dec. 2, a fan of the “God is a Woman” singer eagled-eyed Ariana’s new(ish) ink during some behind-the-scenes footage of her hugely popular “thank u, next” music video.
Dressed as the ever-iconic Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, Ariana calls her friends over to check out her sweet tattoo. “Look at my Myron,” the 25-year-old can be heard saying. “Guys, come look. How cool, right?” For those of you who don’t know, Myron was Mac’s dog. While we can’t be sure, it looks as though Ari has been taking care of Myron ever since the “Ladders” rapper tragically passed away from an apparent drug overdose on Sept. 7.
In fact, on Nov. 1, Ariana took to her Instagram Stories to share a precious snapshot of the pooch resting on her stomach. She was also wearing one of Mac’s sweatshirts that read: “I am not a rapper.”

Many of Ariana’s fans took to Twitter to offer the pop star words of praise over her Myron tattoo. “She has a Myron tattoo… are you kidding me? BRB, gotta cry,” one user wrote. “Your Myron tattoo… OMG. My whole heart,” wrote another. Agreed and agreed! We think Ariana’s latest ink is a beautiful way to honor Mac.
