Cool for the summer! Ariel Winter reminded us that warmer weather is coming while rocking a pair of cutoff denim shorts during a day out in Los Angeles. The Modern Family actress looks amazing lately and we can’t get enough of her cute and casual style. She debuted her new red hair back in March but it’s hard to look away from the starlet’s stunning physique. The California native has been working on herself lately but she’s also stayed very candid about her recent weight loss that was partly due to switching anti-depressant medication. The 21-year-old’s legs looked impossibly long in cutoff shorts while running errands. She kept the ensemble casual with a white T-shirt, patterned sneakers and her hair tossed up. The actress has impressively shed a ton of weight during the past year and she’s not afraid to show it.

Put in Work

“For years I had been on antidepressants that caused me to gain weight that I couldn’t lose no matter what I did,” Ariel admitted on her Instagram Story in April. “It was always frustrating for me because I wanted to be able to get fit and feel like the work I was doing was paying off, but it never felt that way.”

A Change for the Better

“I had accepted it and moved on,” she continued. “I stayed on those medications for so long because the process is really long and difficult. I wasn’t ready to go through it again so I just accepted the feeling ‘eh’ instead of trying to find something to actually feel better.” In time, the Phineas and Ferb star was able to find “a great combination of medication” that worked better for her mentally and physically.

Dang, Girl!

“The change in medication instantly made me drop all of the weight I couldn’t lose before by just giving me back my metabolism. That was very unexpected,” she admitted at the time. Now, the starlet isn’t afraid to rock a crop top or flaunt her figure in a curve-hugging dress.

Stronger Everyday

Ariel acknowledged that losing the stubborn weight was a relief but now she’s focusing on becoming the best version of herself. She said, “It’s nice to work out and have your body actually respond, but I want to gain a few pounds of muscle and get healthier.” We think she already looks unbelievable!
