OnBachelor in Paradise, drama is pretty much unavoidable, especially when love triangles (or squares … or pentagons) are involved. On season 6, we’ve seen the messiest web yet: Blake Horstmann was called out for hooking up with Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Kristina Schulman at Stagecoach, visiting Hannah Godwin before the show started, and taking Tayshia Adams on a date once they got there. Of course, this is just the most recent in a long line of dramatic love triangles, and you can see more from past seasons in the gallery below!
Season 6 started off with a bang when Caelynn revealed that Blake had hooked up with both her and Kristina (within one day of each other) before heading to Paradise. Then, when he arrived, he chose Tayshia for his date. Of course, this ended up being more of a hate square than a love triangle, cause no one wanted to date him, they just wanted to make him pay. Kristina even asked him on a date just to confront him.

Blake, Hannah G., and Dylan
Blake’s philandering ways upset a lot of the guys on the beach, but none more than Dylan, who was head-over-heels for Hannah when he learned that she also had a pre-BIP makeout sesh with Blake. Hannah spent a few episodes hemming and hawing over which guy was right for her, before eventually giving her rose to Dylan and leaving Blake behind.

Chris Randone, Krystal Nielson, and Tia Booth
Though Tia was pretty much obsessed with Colton Underwood on season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise, she finally branched out and got romantic with villain Chris. Chris promised he was going to be there for her, then quickly made out with Krystal. When Tia confronted him, he totally gaslit her about it, proving he was certainly worse than Colton. However, once Chris started dating Krystal, he totally changed! Now the two are married.

Kendall Long, Joe Amabile, and Leo Dottavio
All of Bachelor Nation was confused and furious when Kendall opted to go on a date with villain Leo after making a love connection with everyone’s fave, Grocery Store Joe. For a while, she seemed genuinely conflicted about who she liked better, until Leo made out with Chelsea and Kendall confronted him about it. When he totally freaked out, it made Kendall’s decision way easier. She’s still with Joe today!

Jordan Kimball, David Ravitz, and Jenna Cooper
TBH, Jenna really only seemed to be interested in David — Jordan’s nemesis — to toy with Jordan. However, it led to real tension. Jordan even threw a large stuffed animal that David got Jenna into the ocean!

Dean Unglert, Kristina Schulman, and Danielle Lombard
Before there was Blake, Dean was the official f–kboy of Paradise. He quickly connected to Kristina, but couldn’t ignore the “hotness” of D.Lo when she joined the cast. He even revealed that he stayed in contact with both of them after Paradise, which pissed off both women on ATFR. These days, Dean seems cool with Kristina, and seems to be focusing on Caelynn.

Ashley Iaconetti, Jared Haibon, Caila Quinn
Though Ashley’s obsession with Jared began on season 2 of BIP, things got way more tense in season 3, when Jared became interested in Caila. Because Ashley made the relationship between Jared and Caila nearly impossible, the pair actually left Paradise together. Of course, we all know how the story ends: years later, Jared finally did come running back to Ashley, and now they’re married!

Vinny Ventiera, Izzy Goodkind, and “Lamp Guy” Brett
This one was particularly heartbreaking because Vinny and Izzy hooked up on night one and were like an old married couple the entire time, until Lamp Guy showed up. Izzy literally spoke to him for 10 minutes before telling Vinny she wanted to pursue him. Vinny was completely crushed, and sent himself home. Izzy later regretted her decision (when Brett made a stronger connection with someone else) and left to chase Vinny, but it was too late and they couldn’t reconcile.

Clay Harbor, Nicole Lopez-Alvar, and Christian Estrada
clay was cool as a cucumber when Nicole went on a date with Jordan, but when she came back from her date with Christian all smitten, he started getting nervous. Luckily, that problem was solved when Jordan and Christian got into a fight and were both sent home, but Nicole promises she always would have picked Clay anyway.

Derek Peth, Kristian Haggerty, and Demi Burnett
This was definitely the most unique triangle ever! While Derek quickly fell for Demi, she was hung up on a woman she was dating back home. Though she wasn’t ready to cut things off with Derek, everything changed when Kristian showed up in Paradise! Demi decided to end things with her island boo and focus fully on her girlfriend.

Katie Morton, Chris Bukowski, and Jen Saviano
Katie totally regretted being so nonchalant with letting her connection, Chris, go on a date with Jen. It instilled doubt in the hunk, who wanted more of a commitment from Katie, and after his date with Jen, he was totally confused. We’ll just have to wait and see who he ultimately picks!
