First comes love then comes …? Bachelor in Paradise couple Joe Amabile and Kendall Long have been going strong since getting together during season 5. The reality duo exclusively dished to Life & Style that they definitely foresee a happy future for their relationship. They recently moved into an apartment in Los Angeles together and seem to be more smitten with each other than ever.

“We don’t have a specific timeline, but we talk about it a lot,” the 27-year-old beauty confessed about their baby and marriage plans during the Love After Lockup season 3 Premiere at the Whitby on August 13. Joe, 32, admitted that he fully plans on keeping it a secret when he decides to get down on one knee.

“I gotta keep it a surprise, I can’t just tell her when I’m gonna ask her to marry me! But we’re moving in the right direction,” the grocery store stud acknowledged. Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson got engaged during the same season and walked down the aisle in June 2019. Astrid Loch moved to Canada to be with her hunky beau Kevin Wendt, making them another successful couple from season 5.

However, Joe and Kendall are not feeding into the pressure. The reality babe admitted in a previous interview that fans putting a magnifying glass over their romance actually helped her and Joe communicate better. “Our whole entire relationship is about being engaged … As two people who are mainly afraid of commitment, it makes it so the idea of talking about engagement isn’t scary,” she divulged to E! at iHeartRadio’s ALTer Ego in January. “It just makes it more fun and we think that it will definitely, possibly happen someday but as of now, we want to get so many more things solidified in our life before we take the next step.”

The Chicago native couldn’t agree more with his ladylove. “We take it day by day and we really just enjoy hanging out with each other,” he exclusively spilled to Life & Style in December. “We don’t feel any need for that added pressure of an engagement, but we are solid, so you never know.”

We think Joe and Kendall’s future is looking bright!
