‘BiP’ Star Kendall Long Shuts Down Joe Amabile Engagement Rumors With the Real Story Behind Her Diamond Ring
It’s not what you think! Bachelor in Paradise alum Kendall Long shut down engagement rumors with Joe Amabile after fans noticed a diamond ring on her hand. It turns out, the sparkler does have sentimental meaning behind it, but it’s not from the reality stud.
“We are not engaged yet!” the blonde beauty divulged exclusively to Life & Style about her and her beau’s relationship status. The rock came from a very special person in Kendall’s life, but it does not have romantic meaning. “The ring I wear was actually a gift from my sister. We joke that it’s her wedding ring to me because I wear it next to my ring finger and it sort of looks like a wedding ring,” she explained. Aw, so sweet! Kendall has an identical twin sister, Kylie, whom she’s extremely close to.
As for Kendall and Joe, the adorable pair recently took a big step when they signed a lease in West Hollywood together at the end of April. Fans were hoping this meant they would make things official soon but they’re content exactly where they are.
“No, we don’t regret not getting engaged on the show,” Joe exclusively told Life & Style in December about not getting down on one knee during season 5 of Paradise. “We take it day by day and we really just enjoy hanging out with each other.” The former Dancing With the Stars contestant added, “We don’t feel any need for that added pressure of an engagement, but we are solid, so you never know.”
The couple wants to check a few things off their bucket list before they settle down. “Yeah, we’re just taking it day by day. We want to start traveling together because we really haven’t been able to do much with Dancing With the Stars,” Joe noted while on tour with the competition show. They are definitely a super adventurous pair and have since been to California, New York, France and more in just a few short months.
