Bachelor Nation’s Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs Are Engaged 7 Months After Rekindling ‘BiP’ Romance
They found love in paradise! Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs are engaged!
“In the ultimate plot twist … HE SAID ‘YES,'” the former Bachelorette, 32, gushed via Instagram on Sunday, May 29, alongside photos of the couple celebrating with champagne. “We’ve been keeping this secret just between us and close family and friends for a while but we’re so excited to shout it from the rooftops!”
“I finally found my chauffeur for life and the one who makes my heart smile every single day,” the season 14 lead added. “I can’t wait to do it all with you Tommy, thanks for making me the happiest gal alive. I love you to the moon and back.”
In his own sentimental post, Thomas gushed over his new fiancée. “The ultimate UNO reverse card / power move. You keeping me on my toes for a lifetime has a great ring to it,” the real estate agent wrote. “Cheers to forever Boops.”
The pair met during season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise, but left the beach single. However, the two gave their relationship another shot after filming. After Becca broke up with him, Thomas fought for the relationship during the hit ABC show, which led the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast host to give him another chance.
After the BIP season finale aired, the Bachelor alum revealed she and Thomas were back together in a sweet Instagram video compilation. “I’m sorry for breaking up with you on national television, but I’ll take every day to make it up to you, Tommy,” she captioned the October 5 post. “Thanks for making my heart smile far more than it ever has. Now time to start this real life @thomasajacobs.”
During an episode of the “Bachelor Nation” podcast hosted by Mike Johnson and Dr. Bryan Abasolo, the couple gushed over their first holiday season together. “The goal is to only be ‘food pregnant’ after all the eating and celebrating; however, you never know after getting to spend extra time with the nieces and nephews,” Thomas joked as he discussed they would spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with both of their families.
Throughout their relationship, the reality personalities have had fun double-dating with other Bachelor Nation couples like Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb and attending former Bachelor lead Ben Higgin’s wedding.
They even went back to Mexico on vacation in February, and this time, they came back home still together. “Made it out of Mexico this time without getting dumped. YES,” Thomas captioned his February 20 Instagram post of the couple’s trip.“
Well, haven’t made it out yet. #westillhere,” Becca joked back in the comments.
The former publicist returned to host the 2022 Bachelor Live on Stage tour, and Thomas was her biggest fan. He posted a tribute to his then-girlfriend, admiring her work ethic and stage presence. “ I couldn’t have gotten through these last few days without you. You get my final rose for the rest of forever. I love you,” Becca commented on his March 16 Instagram post.
