Three Months Ago …

Hannah got the call from Chris Harrison three months ago that she was going to be the next Bachelorette, and of course, she was super excited. The 24-year-old even tearfully choked up while she was on FaceTime.

The Journey Begins

“For some reason, I always put pressure on myself. I am nervous. Everybody has different ways that they find their person, and I am really hopeful that this is mine,” Hannah told the camera.

Tyler

Meet the men! “I love to dance, and I was two classes from being a dance minor at Wake Forest,” Tyler said. “I am so stoked that Hannah B. is going to be the Bachelorette. I think she is drop dead gorgeous. I am definitely going to get the first dance with her, so I am looking forward to that.”

Peter

“I have always wanted to be a pilot, ever since I was a little kid,” Peter told the camera. “I knew it was what I was going to do for the rest of my life. I am very spontaneous person. I look forward to sharing that spontaneity and sense of adventure with Hannah. She has got that goofy side to her that is just so attractive.”

Luke P.

“This emptiness overcame me, and I was in the shower, and God was speaking to me. I realized that I wasn’t the man that I wanted to be, and I am working on the kind of man my wife wants me to be,” Luke P. confessed. “Hannah B. is obviously gorgeous and we share a lot of the same values. I am so ready to get to know Hannah.”

Bring on the Men!

“It’s really important for me to find a man that will love me for all of me,” Hannah revealed. “Bless the man who spends forever with me, but I want to give somebody is really special. I am nervous. The desire of my heart is to find love. I don’t know what I am doing, but bring on the men!”

“My family always told me how important it is to shine inside and outside. I can’t wait to get to know your heart,” Jed told Hannah.

“I’m already having guys jump fences for me!” Hannah exclaimed after Connor made quite the impression when he jumped a fence for her.

“With this pizza, will you have a piece of my heart?” Jonathan asked before Hannah devoured the cheesy guilty pleasure.

“I hope we can relish this evening, and we can ketchup inside,” Grant joked while eating a hot dog and holding condiments.

Cam already has a rose, but it doesn’t mean he didn’t hold back when he got out of the limo. “I am so excited, and I have been thinking about you,” he said.

Spread Your Wings

“I brought you a little gift tonight. As a pilot, wings are something very symbolic,” Peter said. “I would like to give you this pair right here, and I am just hopeful at the end of this journey, we can fly away together.” Aw!

Cheers

Hannah couldn’t stop smiling once she entered the room with the 30 men vying for her heart. “I am just really thankful that you all decided to say yes to taking this chance with me,” she said. “I am not perfect. I am going to make mistakes and you are too. I don’t want perfect, I want real. I am going to be real with you, and I want you to be real back with me. I can say, I see my husband in this room, but with that being said, raise your glass to a start of a wonderful night and a beginning of an amazing and imperfect adventure to find love.”

It’s Fate

“My sister-in-law signed me up,” Luke confessed while speaking with the pageant queen. “Honestly, I was like, ‘I am not finding the girl I am falling in love with.’ I said, ‘That could be my wife’, and then, here we are, and I don’t know you all too well, but I am seriously into you. You’ve got some catching up to do.”

Let’s Party

Connor J. throws Hannah her own bachelorette party where they played games in the driveway. Afterward, the handsome hunk puts a crown on her head. “Being the Bachelorette feels like a dream. I was already excited for tonight, but it’s already more than I imagined,” she said.

First Kiss

Cam goes in for the first kiss since it’s technically their second date — the duo met on After the Final Rose in March.

Under Cover

Demi Burnett and Katie Morton — former contestants on Colton’s season — camped out in the driveway with lie detector gear. “Earlier today, someone reached out to me on social media saying that one of the guys has social media. I don’t know if it’s true, but I want to see if he has the nerve to show up tonight,” Demi said.

Drama, Drama

Scott and Hannah chatted, and it seemed like things were going well. However, Hannah was minutes away from learning that he is already taken. “So, Scott apparently has a girlfriend. I’ve ready messages between the girlfriends and her friends about how they saw each other Monday, before they came, and they are going to be together when this is all over,” Demi explained to Hannah.

Trouble

Hannah confronted Scott about the rumors. “I heard you do have a girlfriend. I just want to understand why these things would be said about you,” she said. However, he defended himself. “I have dated this girl and I was nervous coming into it, yeah, but I am not here – the reason I am here is for you. The reason I am here to get a long-term relationship, who I can be partnered with going forward,” he said.

Get Out

But Hannah wasn’t having it. “You’re here and taking up so much time, it’s not fair to me. It’s definitely not fair to the girl that thinks she’s your girlfriend back at home,” she said. “You are such a jerk. You have another girl at home that is still on the line, so you know what, I am done with this. There is no reason for you to be here if you’re not serious. It’s time for you to head out. If you think this is serious, then you have a lot to get ready for before an engagement.”

The Second Kiss

“I don’t even know what to say about this,” Connor S. revealed about their steamy make out — the second kiss of the night. “We had a good conversation, and we sealed it with a kiss. I feel very confident about getting a first impression rose.”

First Impression Rose

However, Luke got the coveted first impression rose. “You said to me that you already felt like something when you saw me, and I felt the exact same way. I look forward to getting to know you better. So, I really like you and I wanted you to know that,” she admitted. Of course, Luke accepted the flower. “I just want you to know, this means the world to me. This is amazing.” Oh, and then they shared a passionate kiss. Even after the whole Scott ordeal, the southern hunk was the first one to check on her.

Who Went Home?

Unfortunately, some men had to go home. Who won’t be continuing their love connection with Hannah? Scott, Joe, Matt Donald, Ryan, Chasen, Hunter, Brian and Thomas all left the mansion on night one.
